Anything during purchase of S7 with 55k on it that I should look and listen for?

Question: Trunk release opened using the exterior trunk handle but trunk unlocked but I had to manually open it; no power open. The power open buttons on the dash and in the trunk work just not the exterior trunk handle.

Is this how it works or is there something wrong?

Question: I see some wear on driver side arm rest. Is this easy to replace or something aftermarket that I can cover it with?

There’s a setting in the MMI to disable the trunk open button.

I’m not sure about after market but I’m sure you can get oem parts to replace the side arm rest.

Newbie here. Looking to purchase S6. I like the red calipers and realize you can do that after purchase, but wondering which package comes with red calipers. i originally thought it was sport package, but have seen some sport packages without red calipers?

The black optics package comes with red calipers.

My quick question: With my S7, it's a pain to manually push the spoiler button every time I start the car. There are other owners that mentioned a programming code to enable on startup or remote. I've searched this forum, but haven't seen any posts. Has anyone tried this option? Thanks.

Would also like to know this. I've assumed no one has found a solution, but I could be wrong.

Where can I buy a RS6 grille that is chrome/aluminum whatever around the outside? I don't have the black optics package on my C7 S6 and don't want to have to wrap all other shiny bits on the front end and window edges. I just want the shiny around the outside of the grille with the black mesh center.

You can order an ORM RS grille with whatever trim you want via Europrice.com Alternatively, many folks find less expensive options on EBay.

not an option from what I understood when I was shopping around in Sept 2016. I was trying to figure out the pros/cons of getting a 16 vs a 17 and that was one of the differences in factory options

Is there a way to show the song information on the center cluster display? When listening to Sirius the main screen changes from channel list to song / station info after a few seconds. The center display between the gauges only shows the channel list.

Researching new tires for 2015 RS7.
Tirerack gives a choice of OE Metal Valve Stems or OE Rubber Valve Stems.
How do I tell which I currently have?? Do I need to stick with that?

Also when replacing tires is it mandatory to get new valve stems? Do I need to get specific ones or whatever the tire installer has on hand?
Also do I need to do anything special for TPMS?

TPMS will determain your valve stems - usually metal. See here

You shouldn't need to change out the TPMS sensors, unless you have any that playing up, in which case you may want to see if you can change the battery (some you can, some are sealed units). Otherwise don't let Tirerack talk you into new TMPS sensors.

Tire Storage.. I bought winter tires and wheels and need to swap and store between them (19") and my summer (21"). They'll be stored in a heated garage in area that does tend to get wet once in a while (but tires will not be stored on floor). I will be storing them laying flat and stacked 4 high.

Do I need tire bag's (sealed) or just Tire Totes? Any bags or Totes that can fit 21" tires/wheels?
Anything else I should get/do?

I asked because I've been shopping for A7s for a year now until I bought mine recently, and never once saw that button so in Europe it either wasn't an option at all or extremely rare....

If you just have an asterisk there rather than the steering wheel with the lines coming from it, then it doesn't have a heated steering wheel. Also, if you have a heated steering wheel, that means that it has the cold weather package and there should be heated seats in the rear as well. That would be another indicator to check.
