Does anybody have experience with this front mount intercooler? It definitely looks killer. I live really close and was considering dropping my car off to have some stuff done. Combined with a chip, exhaust, and intake, this would make for a cool setup. Are these reliable? Will the dealer flip out about warranty work with this intercooler installed? Any error messages that will pop up?

Does anybody have experience with search function? It definitely looks killer. My mouse pointer is really close to it and I was considering using it.

Get the AE Performance FMIC instead, get your car dyno'd, and post the dyno in this thread.

Do you think maybe I did that before you decided to be a prick? Nobody has created a thread about the AWE intercooler. If there is, please post a link to it and it'll be my bad.

I'm sure there's one from AWE launched it that probably has the most in there. You could also check the Eurocode FMIC launch thread for some more debating.

And LOL @ DubC, are you really waiting till someone buys that thing before you make a decision?

    Thanks for considering our FMIC.

You'll have no reliability issues with our FMIC and no error messages will pop up as long as everything is installed properly.

How your dealer will react depends on how mod-friendly they are. We have quite a few dealers who sell our parts on new cars, fresh off the showroom floor. Who do you use?

Software, exhaust and our FMIC will give you a great power increase. Our testing showed peak gains of 52whp and 49wtq over stock. PM me your name and email address, I'll have a Sales Reps contact you with more info.

Hey, everyone can agree that the more educated we are about various B8 products, the better I personally am in no hurry to make an FMIC decision, but it'd be nice to amass data on competing products for the benefit of consumers in the meantime.

I bought from Warrington Audi, but I'm probably going to start going to Willow Grove Audi because I'm not too happy with my dealer. I'll get you my info.

If you replace the factory intercooler, where will baby birds sleep?

To bring this thread to a more specific point versus the one's already started.

a.) My exact setup, AWE FMIC & Gen1 Exhaust, APR Carbonio and STaSIS tune. The wagon has plenty of power that is delivered very smoothly and constistently.
b.) Haven't tested the warranty scenario.
    c.) No error messages.

Just when I thought this thread couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem it!

Hey, better there than the intake...

Maybe one of the few moderators on here can make a sticky on forum rules....and call it the board or whatever and tell the newbies to go there when they offend any rules stated. That way we can eliminate a lot of trouble and be less redundant here.

I wish it were that simple. Newbies are far too cool to be bothered with searching.
