I wonder if the elimination of the vibration has anything to do with your Coilovers?? Meaning that the Coilovers fixed the vibration??

Also need to mention - the new wheels actually eliminated the slight vibration that I was getting in the steering wheel between 60-72 mph, the same that people try to fix through the recall. I'm not saying this is universal, but I think it is worthy of note.

Thanks to Bobby and the team at PYSpeed on the great deal on the 708s!

    Please forgive the amateur pictures.
Looks great! I think about getting a set of these all the time because they're so cheap.

The coils have been on for over a year. The vibration only left after the new wheels were put on.

Excuse my ignorance on this matter. I'm looking to buy a set of Vossen wheels, CV5 *Sexy as all outdoors in Cancun on Spring break*

Here are the rim spec listed on the craigslist ad. I looked for a few Vossen retailers local to Tampa but they all seem to be on back order or need to be ordered, I like instant gratification though so I don't mind classified purchase.

Vossen CV5 in matte graphite machined finish
    (2) 20 9.0 and (2) 20 10.5.
    Bolt pattern 5x114.3:
    Offsets 32 F and 45 R.

I noticed the wheel sizes are different, does anyone have a similar size setup so that I can see how these would look?
I have an '09 Audi A4, OEM Sports Suspension. 18s

I'm sure I would need new tires as well, any recommendations?

So I have replaced my previous set of 19" TSW Demons with a set of Matt Black HRE reps in 19". Also fitted a set of Eibach pro springs (35mm front and 30mm rear). The cars appearance has changed dramatically!! Lovin it!!

Comments? Still need to get a set of spacers, but these are hard to find in sunny South Africa!!

So I notice most people running 19s are using 30 or 35 series tires. Do 40 series fit with 19s? Looked like some people running 18s were using 40 series. Let me know, after looking at this thread, still leaves me not knowing. Thanks

Hey guys I am new to the forum and just purchased my first Audi about 3 weeks ago. I am about to pull the trigger on a new tire and wheel set. I'm really liking the VMR V715's I just want to double check (for reassurance purposes) that the following set up will fit with no rubbing issues - I'm trying to mimic some of the set ups from this forum:

    VMR V715 - Hyper Black
19x8.5 5x112 ET38 - will these fit well for all four?

I would look at 245-35s for tires. The car is not lowered yet, but certainly will be in the future.

Welcome! You should be good to go -- I'm running a 255 on same size wheel w/ no rubbing... and I'm lowered.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick response man. I appreciate it.

Also one last thing. My father and I seem to not agree on this:

ET45 would be tucked into the wheel well (so less flush) as opposed to an ET38 which would give me a more flushed look (pulling the wheel out towards the fender). Am I correct on this?

Yep -- The ET45 would bring the outer edge of the wheel in by 7mm. More flush with the ET38.

    Hi Guys,

I'm new to audizine and glad to be here. My question is this ... I just bout a set of 19's for a 2009 A4 S Line. I would rather not go as low as 35 profile because of the state of the roads where I live; will 245/40/19 cause any rubbing?

you should be fine with the stock suspension, it will only be 0.26 inch taller than US spec stock (255/35R19)

Totally awesome. Those side skirts and rear valance really pull it all together! Are those Audi-brand parts? I just put a STaSIS Touring Kit on my A4, and I'd like to finish it up with some side skirts and a sportier rear valence. :)

Loving the setup! I've never been a fan of black wheels but I'm coming around on the matte black look.

Anyone have other pics of matte black wheels on silver/grey? I'm thinking about it for my ice silver metallic...

I dig that look on the silver

Just my two cents: I think you should look into blacking out the chrome window trim. I think that would complete the look... especially with the blacked out grille.

I like that look with ice silver. Although not matte black, I saw a pic of an ice silver S4 with the titanium package wheels in another thread... I thought it looked badass:

    Hi,
I´m new here and this is my brand new A4 Avant 2.0TDI, picked it up yesterday.
First new Audi after 10yrs with BMW´s :)
    Winter setup with 19" RS5 reps. & 235/40R19 Dunlop Wintersport 3D
Will install H&R Sport springs and i´ve ordered Vossen VVSCV2 20x9 ET32 and wonder if i should go for 245/30R20 or 255/30R20?...or maybe, which setup will work without too much rubbing?

    Hi All,

First post. Quick question. First off I believe I'm going to purchase the VMR V710's i see a lot of people going with 19X(8.5-9.5), I'm under the impression that 19X10-11 gives a more concave look (which im going for) but rarely see people have that size rim. Is this because they simply don't fit on the A4 if its lowered, or may cause rubbing?

You guys would know more than me, I'll open up the floor...
