Hey guys I am new to the forum and just purchased my first Audi about 3 weeks ago. I am about to pull the trigger on a new tire and wheel set. I'm really liking the VMR V715's I just want to double check (for reassurance purposes) that the following set up will fit with no rubbing issues - I'm trying to mimic some of the set ups from this forum:

    VMR V715 - Hyper Black
19x8.5 5x112 ET38 - will these fit well for all four?

I would look at 245-35s for tires. The car is not lowered yet, but certainly will be in the future.

Welcome! You should be good to go -- I'm running a 255 on same size wheel w/ no rubbing... and I'm lowered.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick response man. I appreciate it.

Also one last thing. My father and I seem to not agree on this:

ET45 would be tucked into the wheel well (so less flush) as opposed to an ET38 which would give me a more flushed look (pulling the wheel out towards the fender). Am I correct on this?

Yep -- The ET45 would bring the outer edge of the wheel in by 7mm. More flush with the ET38.

you should be fine with the stock suspension, it will only be 0.26 inch taller than US spec stock (255/35R19)

Hello. I am a new to Audi forums in gerneral. Can you tell me a bit more about your wheels (size, etc.)? Also, does the "touring" suspension drop the car a bit? I am interested in finding photos of A4 with 19" wheels but at stock height. Thanks for your time.

I don't know if it's the fact that the car is black and thus the tires are hard to make out on their own (making out is hard on your own ;) ) but something looks a little off about the last picture.

    Either way nice wheels!

Possibly looks higher because of stretch...cant see any sidewall. Proper oe fitment on that size wheel is 255 not 235.

I really don't know why and what is wrong. it's his serial height.

Looking to get spacers. I only rub in the front when turning fast on uneven roads. Would 5mm around be noticeable or should I go bigger? Also any recommendations on a 10mm spacer that would fit the rear I think h&r shows the 10mm as fronts only

How sure are you about the 10mm spacers? Last I checked H&R didn't offer any for B8's. 5mm is a waste IMO. ECS has a nice selection for our cars. Your best bet is to measure the distance from tire sidewall to the inside of your fender to determine the right size.

I thought I saw them on h&r's website today. I think 8mm would be optimal. Ill check ecs later. Thanks Blake

I currently drive a 2001 A6. Within this year I plan to purchase an newer A4. Any photos of 2009-newer A4 running 19" wheels and at stock height (no drop)? What's a ballpark figure for dropping a A4 about 1.5"? Also, wheels spacers used mostly to change the "stance" of the vehicle? I am new to forums in gerneral so hope I posted this in the correct area. Thanks for any and all replies. I love looking at the Audis in this forum thread...badass!!!

you should be fine without rubbing, though the wheels will be about 18mm larger in diameter appr 2.8% larger than stock 255/35R19
