i am still dialing in the suspension and am going to drop it another half inch in the next week or so. i will take more proper pics then. no rubbing so far most likely because i have 245 tires. i am hoping to drop it some more and then assess whether i can fit 255s in there and still not rub. since the offset on the wheels is et35, it will be a close fit.

The wheels are 19x9.5 +29F +22R with 215-35 all around. Yes it rubs but not as bad as you'd think for being low. The Fk coils still have room to spin down.

Also need to mention - the new wheels actually eliminated the slight vibration that I was getting in the steering wheel between 60-72 mph, the same that people try to fix through the recall. I'm not saying this is universal, but I think it is worthy of note.

At the moment running wsp italy pompei 18" 245/40, standard suspension avant. Plan is to go for 19" 8,5 ET 43 or 45 wsp italy pompei, i would preffer no drop because of winter setup, but to keep the cap less as possible. I think it should look better with 255/40, it will give speedo error 3,9% or 245/40 wich should give 2,6%, those are only 5 mm higher tires, but still maybe better option then 255/35. Any advise much appriciated.

Found thread in this forum regarding those tire sizes and looks like pointless setup wich will not look better at all, so need to drop and should look ok even with 18".

I wonder if the elimination of the vibration has anything to do with your Coilovers?? Meaning that the Coilovers fixed the vibration??

The coils have been on for over a year. The vibration only left after the new wheels were put on.

So I have replaced my previous set of 19" TSW Demons with a set of Matt Black HRE reps in 19". Also fitted a set of Eibach pro springs (35mm front and 30mm rear). The cars appearance has changed dramatically!! Lovin it!!

Comments? Still need to get a set of spacers, but these are hard to find in sunny South Africa!!

Just my two cents: I think you should look into blacking out the chrome window trim. I think that would complete the look... especially with the blacked out grille.

I'm new to audizine and glad to be here. My question is this ... I just bout a set of 19's for a 2009 A4 S Line. I would rather not go as low as 35 profile because of the state of the roads where I live; will 245/40/19 cause any rubbing?

So I notice most people running 19s are using 30 or 35 series tires. Do 40 series fit with 19s? Looked like some people running 18s were using 40 series. Let me know, after looking at this thread, still leaves me not knowing. Thanks
