Well guys, we were able to knockout the dyno today. Conditions in the shop were actually better then the last time we ran the dyno. Barometric pressure was higher, and temps in the shop were lower. The results speak for themselves

8 hp swing for a 1/2 inch difference.... i mean i guess the dyno's dont lie (two runs with identical HP #'s down to the decimal seems a bit fishy but the results are the results) but congrats nonetheless

the two runs are shown as if they were comparing one to the other, as you can see in the first dyno graph we posted comparing stock to our test pipe. in this case, the ebay test pipe is simply being compared to itself, and is not meant to suggest we ran two identical runs back to back. Sure, an increase of 1/2 inch may not sound like much, but its roughly a 40% increase in area that exhaust gasses get to flow through. That doesn't even take into account the even larger area of the reducer. (about 150% more area directly off the turbo compared to the 2.5in test pipe.)

All in all we were not surprised by the results and are very happy with how our test pipe stacks up.

Now do a dyno on your hfc so I can place the order already :)

I'll see what we can do. In the meantime, it's pretty safe to say it will do a few HP/TQ less than the test pipe.

hey how does this thing compare to APR 's test pipe i will be in the market for my stage 2 and am going to be needing a test pipe and hpfp thanks ....

ebay = apr = creative = atp = any tp other then RAI's because RAI's is the only one that is designed differently with funnel type housing

In other words, there's no test pipe that can compare with RAI because of its unique 4" discharge

you can compare any testpipe to anything, im saying that ebay apr atp creative and vmr all share the exact same design and can assume like performance gains, apparently the RAI test pipe shows an 8 hp gain over all of those....u can still compare them

The only other option to do similar is a custom fab test pipe..which probably isnt worth the time or money to do anyway....my buddy has a 3.5 to 3 inch tp on his avant, and he paid 300 to get it custom done

Hey guys, I should also note, the optional 3rd o2 bung comes with a plug incase you don't yet have a wideband o2 sensor, but are planning of adding one in the future.

just installed this test pipe on my awe exhaust i love the sound. The drone doesn't bother me. Car defently pulls harder and i am on stock tune. i cant wait to chip my car even more now!!! I am very happy with my service from RAI very nice product you wont be disappointed!!

I received my RAI test pipe yesterday and installed it same day. Luckily, it was during a freak-warm February day in NJ.

A few key points I liked about this test pipe:

• longer in length, thus less stress on the flex pipe
• 4" discharge design after turbo tapered to a 3" test pipe
• all hardware included
• superior quality overall

IMO, this is the best test pipe, from quality to performance, available up to date for a b7 A4!
