So, earlier in the thread there was a discussion about CELs from removing the SAI pump... why won't adding a resistor prevent this? What does the ECU look for to determine "correct SAI flow"?

One of the tasks of the wideband 02 sensor is to monitor an A/F change when the SAI pump turns on then off after the car is to temp. The only way to keep the light off is to #1: have the flow inorder for the wideband and ECU to monitor that A/F change, or #2: remove the systems check from the ECU

No resistor or anything else will allow the ECU to see the A/F change that it expects and has programmed in to check for without either the SAI flow present or removing the thought of even checking for it from the ECU
