What I gather are the ST = KW V1 = Vogtland avant coilover sets use the same dampers except the V1s have a stainless body (better corrosion/rust resistance) vs galvanized. Corrosion shouldn't be a huge concern since you're in the south and wouldn't have to worry about salted roads due to snow.

The only concern with the ST/KW setups are the rear springs sagging over time and being too low (personal preference) - not sure if this issue has been corrected for newer sets, but there are spring "spacers" released by KW to help mitigate the issue.
