Has anyone seen a video or time slip of a stage 1 93 car at full weight and straight 93 octane that ran faster than 12.00 on a legit track? I haven’t seen a stage 1 car break into 11’s without 104 octane or weight reduction yet. Does anyone know of one that was full weight and on straight 93?

Nice run. You might have the record. It is likely that if you run in super negative DA (like -1500 or so) you may dip into high 11s. Our engines are very DA sensitive.

I’ve seen a bunch of high 11 second dragy runs, mine included but none at the track. Maybe I do have the 93 full weight prepped track record.
I race my car the way I drive it every day.
DA was -300 on that run. I hope to do much better at the end of the season when it gets close to -1000 or lower at night.

Not sure the weight since I ran with no front fascia or hood (tools and jack still in trunk). Original tires bought with the car. I’d have to see what they are because I don’t remember. Stock wheels.
This car sat for over two years in my garage because I took a job where I traveled every week. The fact that it still ran this well, after running the flat spots out of the tires getting to the track, impresses me.

This got me wondering if it’s possible to break into the 11’s with nothing but a 93 octane tune and intake. Granted, this was my first time tracking the car, but still. Even under ideal track conditions and weather, I’m still pretty doubtful.
I picked up 2 mile an hour by hotlapping, which I found interesting. A buddy seems to think a better tire could possibly get me there. I don’t think it’s enough.

Running with no front bumper and hood probably made you slower even with the weight reduction.
11’s on a 93 octane stage 1 tune is going to be harder on a manual. I have a DSG car and I run 11.8 on the street with Dragy but the best I can do at the track so far is 12.003. SOOOO close to 11’s but I never take any weight out. Not even my spare tire. With the spare out I would have hit 11.9X at the track on my run a couple posts up.
I run 11.8 on the street all the time. I just can’t seem to break into 11’s at the track.
Tires make a huge difference. When I got Michelin PS4’s my 60 foot dropped by a ton. I also had to bump up my launch RPM by 1000 RPM’s or else it would bog down.
Light weight wheels will also help you. I’m getting some APR light weight 19’s very soon and that should get me into consistent 11.9s or better at the track and I hope to see 11.7 on the street.

Hello there s4 people... I come in peace and bearing gifts.
I recently compiled all of the a6/a7 times i can find and noticed there were very few entries, this led me to cast my net wider and include all 3.0tfsi: s4,a6,a7,q5,sq5,s5. sourced from 1/4 mile stickies on audizine as well as the official ea837 leaderboard and dragy verified youtube videos.

I typed majority of the times by hand and pasted in those that originated from other spreadsheets. Very likely something happened that caused the names and times to mismatch. Thanks for letting me know EvolutionArmory. You’re the first to point it out and I appreciate it. I’ll check my older file versions to try and correct it. It’s something I did in my free time after having some beers so forgive the mistake.
