The final stages of the Le Mans 24 Hours finished without any further dramas for Audi Sport Team Joest.

During the last hour the four Audi R18 prototypes formed up for a photo finish in order of the overall positions. And at 3 PM a new chapter in the history of motorsport was made: The Audi R18 e-tron quattro is the first hybrid car that has won the Le Mans 24 Hours.

It was the 11th victory for Audi at Le Mans. For a fourth time Audi clinched a 1-2-3 victory. Marcel Fässler (CH), André Lotterer (D) and Benoît Tréluyer (F) repeatd their victory from last year with the #1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro.
