Glove box brackets FOR SALE BY AN AUDIZINE VENDOR!!!

Hey all! a while back I started a thread about working on brackets to fix the ever present glove box breakage issue. I succeeded in making the brackets, and over the course of a few months managed to crank out over a hundred sets for people. But with working and school...the work got to be pretty demanding (I was making them from scratch). So I started working with a local shop, Tork Motorsports (who is a vendor on Audizine; Username: HPFPupgrade) and they are now making and selling the brackets!

So long story short, if you have a broken glove box, take a look at the following link and pick up a set! Despite the picture on their website, they are bent to fit exactly to the existing contours of the glove box (not just an L bracket, the picture shown is mid production) and have been powder coated black. They are laser cut and then have been countersunk to hide the screw heads and they also come with matching black screws. To answer your first question, no shipping is not necessarily 15$, you must create an account and add the brackets to your cart to see the shipping price as it depends on where you live.

Do yourself a favor if you are not sure if you have a broken glove box... and check! Most people I have talked to found that it is already cracked and is starting to break, catch it before it falls on the floor, installation is MUCH easier if it is still attached.

These will fit ANY AND ALL: B6-B7 A4, S4, and RS4's

go for it, if you have the time and the means to bend the bracket to the compound bends and to powder coat it then awesome. But for most this isnt an option. Also, this is MUCH better quality then you could get from the hardware store.

I'd get the picture of the formed part which is powdercoated black up ASAP. Showing a mid-production L-bracket and some screws for $40 doesn't do you any favors.

That said, I'd pay 40 bucks just to avoid the hassle of going to the hardware store and finding the parts, bending them, painting them etc just to have them show up at my door. I haven't fixed my glovebox yet for just that reason. It hasn't been opened in like .. 2 years, lol.

Sorry but $40 and then $20 for shipping is a bit of a rip off. Materials will cost $20 max at any home depot or hardware store. We are all suppose to be here to help each other out, not charge $60 for $20 worth of materials.....

I just fixed mine last month. $2 at the hardware store ($1 for the bracket, $1 for a pack of screws). Bent one end of the bracket using two pliers so that it would curve. No offense but $40 does seem steep (plus $20 shipping! )

Yeah you can get the brackets with screws included in a single package for like 5 bucks at HD or Lowes, exactly like the one pictured on the site... Contouring them is simple, painting them is even more so, and they are countersunk, as pretty much all these sort of brackets are.

Oh, if you want the "compound bend" use the 2.5" part of a stock exhaust and gently bend it with a rubber mallet. Worked perfectly with the $2 brackets from Home Depot. I also spray painted it black and it has held up perfectly.

I used two pliers. Same result. It's not like these brackets are made out of titanium :)

HD has the brackets for $4, screws will run you about $2 and then if you wanna spray it, can of black paint is $5.

Considering your cost on this can't be more than $5, you're raping people at $55 shipped. I'm sorry, but thats effing ridiculous. At least get the shipping down to something reasonable. You're using USPS and charging $15. That shipping method can't actually cost more than $5, so you're trying to make another $10 just on the shipping.
