Long story short, after the initial build and 1.5 years, the car awesome on the track but I ran into some engine troubles with the stock BHF V8. I wanted to swap in an 07K I-5 but realized it would take a while, so I decided to BUILD ANOTHER RACE CAR with a B5 A4 chassis. That project has been hugely successful and we are currently in 1st place in the Western Endurance Racing Championship series, and 1st place among numerous German Touring Series regions across the western US of NASA.
I eventually opted for a 1.8T motor swap over the 07K after a perfect motor fell into my lap from Max Stanton and much conversation with 034Motorsport about their Time Attack A4 1.8T.
I feel like a black sheep, not really belonging in the B6 S4 forum, so maybe you guys can take me in?
Here is some info about the car. The chassis is already finished and 98% of these parts are already on the car. Im mostly finishing up the motor swap in the next couple of months and have a few parts yet to install.
The car will be raced in the German Touring Series, Super Touring, and eventually the Western Endurance Racing Championship series.
