    FAQ:
    1. Why would I convert my 1.8T to use 2.0T coils?

Allthough when we dissected the 2.0T Coil , internally it was the same as a 1.8T unit. I am waiting on getting a 2.8 24V Coil Pack so I can throw up a comparison shot but in the mean time running the 2.0T Coils allow you to run a hotter spark.
We have a few local customers that we did the conversion for and they are extremely happy with the results.
    2. What is the largest gap I can run with these coil packs?

0.04" is what we used. If others have used larger please chime in and post up the data.
    3. Why is the adapter plate needed??

The OEM 2.0T Coils are approx 14mm taller than the 1.8T units. In order to have a seal that allows some form of security with the valve cover, the coil pack requires an adapter plate.
    4. What are the PART #'s ?

      RED MKV FSI Coil Packs - 06E 905 115
      BLACK MKV FSI Coil Packs - 07K 905 715 F
      BLACK MKV TSI Coil Packs - 06F 905 115 F
      BLACK MKVI TSI Coil Packs - 06H 905 115

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to send over an email or post in here. Thanks so much everyone. If you feel like contributing to the FAQ , post it in here and I will compile it and add it to the FAQ.

I'd prefer the blacks too, not a big "bling" fan hahaha :)

PM me with a price for everything and I'll try to make some time soon to come by... Maybe if you're ordering some more black ones I'll wait for them.

Thanks man, nice work by the way

I put them in tonight and notice a better idle right away, very smooth, gapped at .040 I went for a rip and I literally pulled out and raced a Skyline for pretty much a 1st gear roll all the way through 4th. Car just pulled smooth through the rev range without a misfire or hint off which would have for sure missed at that gap before, the car is running around 24psi on a GTRS with NGK plugs. Off boost is smooth, definitely something too them...

    INA, great products and service!

So really, 1.1 or 1.2, you don't really have to use the hold down bracket?

    To be honest no.
The local cars dont have the ECS hold down brackets....personally I prefer the 1.2 because I like the socket cap screws sitting flush.

Wait so my spark plugs are gapped to .032 right now; if I bought this and kept the plugs gapped at .032 would that be bad?

It's not bad, as in won't cause any harm, but you won't realize the full benefits of the 2.0l TFSI coil packs unless you run with a wider plug gap like .040", instead of the stock .032". Your engine will run better, but not as good as with a .040" plug gap. An NGK plug with -11 added to the plug number, is factory gapped at .044", or 1.1mm.

Ok what you are going to have to do is basically lop off an ear on one of the adapters so that you are able to clear the turbo brace.

I would be one of those local cars. Like Issam said, they are pretty well anchored in there without the hold down brackets. When I tried to remove the coils, I had to pull pretty hard on them to get them out; and that was before the coil pack adapters. Now with them on, taking them out is like trying to pull your teeth out one by one, with your pinkie.

I ran them with my plugs gapped at 0.028 for over a week. The coils ran fine and made a difference but then I got new plugs gapped to 0.040 and it made a even bigger difference.
I would just do both at once. Especially since new plugs are like 10$ max and take all of 2 mins to change.

    0.044"

This is a good link to see all the NGK nomenclature.
