Thanks man. I'll see what they say. hopefully they don't laugh because literally its the size of a rock chip, but the rust does make me nervous. any idea what they might do for it?

Mighty brave man!!! But I like. Dood, we keep modding soooo similar. My vented hood is at the shop now prepping for paint. Had insurance not covered the price of the hood, I'd be all over this, rep'ing the "Be Like Will" look. Sooo dig it!! Creative!!!!

if you do be careful to not breath in any of the dust.


after driving it about today, I can definitely see heat venting out. i didn't do any before or after temperature comparisons so i can't speak as to if it makes a huge difference or not, but I'm still happy with how they turned out. They do add a bit more aggressiveness to the front, and I have to say it looks pretty mean for a wagon.

Damn that looks pretty cool. The question is when it rains, wouldn't the water leak right over your turbo/testpipe area?

no, the vents are angled, so not much water would actually make it in there. plus the vent is just to the left of the heat shield, preventing any water to drip on to the turbo or testpipe.

I got my Polo rear wiper in.

the cap won't clip over though. and right now it sprays washer fluid directly out the back. tailgaters beware!

Hey i brought the same thing! I also left the cap off for awhile and would spray people on 295 if they were tailgating me on the right lane. Or i would speed up pass a slow left lane driver and spray them. My car, she can sure squirt!!

Also be careful of the arm. That thing physically rubs on the rear windwhield and i think it might of scored the glass. I took a dremel tool and shaved down the arm so i can pass a dollar bill under in while it was engaged. at the same time i also shaved the cap down to get it to work. I'll take some photos on how it looks.
Overall i am not too happy with the purchase and might go get the Q5 wiperarm and cap from genuine auto parts.
