    It really is very easy.

    In all honesty, I really didnt know 100% what I was doing when I started but, as I went along it all started to make sense, on what each system does and what to take off and what to leave.

    I've been reading this thread every couple weeks, and so far the only thing that has kept me from yanking all that crap out of my engine bay is the SAI CEL issue. The ECU has to get input from something to determine if SAI is operating correctly. I'd like to address this outside of the ECU firmware, as not everybody is in a position to go that route.

    I'm guessing this is not the case, but a resistor should work to convince the ECU that the blower motor is still in place (if it's using that as input). Otherwise it needs to rely on a sensor, or combination of data from other sensors, to trigger that CEL/code. What is the input that the ECU is using for the SAI system?
