Ok sorry for lack of updates, here is my most recent photo dump. Hold on to your butts.

    Installed my KW coils

Back down on the ground on BBS's

Installed my B6 S4 front brakes with ceramic Hawk pads.

Now it was onto making some power, bought an HPX MAF to go with my 1000cc Bosch injectors. I didnt grab pics but I also installed my Walbro 450 intank pump.

Installed with new intake I put together.

So the BAD news.... during tuning the "new" RS4 clutch that was in the car started to slip at 19psi on pump 91

SOOOOO I ordered a JHM Stage4 clutch with B7 RS4 pressure plate. I figured while I had the trans out Id finally install my DTS bar, trans mounts, metal slave & braided hydraulic clutch line.

Then back on the alignment rack we go lol.

    "Great success"

Now to break the clutch in, then back to tuning.

Man these forums have slowed down so much.

Anyway, another update post. Swapped in more 034 goodies.

Stock S4 sway bar vs 034 rear sway bar.

Went with 034 sway bar links as well.

Threw in some PowerFlex race front sway bar bushings to finish everything off.

    Gotta love 034 stuff.

Sucks how much the forum has slowed down, everyone just goes to Facebook car groups now. Which is a terrible format for builds like this.

How do you guys keep your bumpers from sagging? My A4 has never been in an accident but the bumper has noticeable gap on the driver side. The clips are on all the way.

The bumper clips just wear out over time. You can replace the ones that bolts to the car, or perhaps adjust it a little so it sits higher.

forgive my noobish question but are you only running a wideband on one bank? I am looking into getting one before i get tuned but the cost of two in slowing me down so just curious about how you handled your install.

LOVE the car, this thread reminds me why it's better to use the forums than social media groups to follow these things

Install one on the driver bank, because that is the second bank to get fuel and most likely to go lean.

I've always heard the passenger bank is the ideal bank to run a wideband in, that's where mine is and it's been golden for 2 years. Very clean B5 you've got there! Glad you're giving it some quality love!

Thank you sir! Trying to revive it little by little.

So while logging I managed to blow an engine mount. Being every other mount has been updated except the side engine mounts ( which I found stock replacements used ) I went the 034 track mounts. These mounts are AMAZING by the way, a little engine vibration at idle and thats it.

I went with the upgraded 10mm stud option, so I had to drill out the engine mount brackets.

Also, my rear diff mount was blown out. Ive built many B5's in my career and found I really didnt like the negatives associated with going sold mount. My solution, take a good stock diff mount and fill the voids with 3M window weld. Gave it a week to harden and boom, an upgraded diff mount without the noise/vibration of a solid mount.

I used window weld on my old Honda builds, and I found that to add much more harshness than inserts. I'm anxious to hear how you like the diff mount. I've pondered replacing it with urethane but read all the horror stories about vibrations afterwards. I hope this turns out to be a good middle ground.

Ive owned many B5s over the years and have done this to all of them, that video I made 2 years ago for my bigturbo A4 lol. Compared to the all the solid mounts i've installed this combo has been IDEAL.

Well, when I had the crap stock replacement engine mounts I was iffy about it. After installing the solid engine mounts I love the clutch. The pressure plate does make the pedal a bit springy which can be annoying but overall engagement is fantastic for what it is. Im almost done tuning on 91, still have to install my Snow Performance Stage2 kit. Finalize tuning on that then onto E85. I pray this clutch holds the power JHM states it does.

Yeah I did them in car, just drop the lower engine mount bracket and you'll have clear access to drill the upper engine mount brackets to 10mm. It was super easy but I had to pull the passenger side turbo inlet to get to the upper engine mount nut.
