    I would reach out to Allroad Outiftters since that's their car. They might be willing to give you more of an estimate than Borla will.

    Sent them a message and we will see what they say...im trying to figure out if they have it non resonated or if that will be an option before I start cutting up my exhaust

    We just finished development on the C7 S6 system. The system is full T304 stainless steel, dual 2.5" all the way back from the factory catalytic converters and includes valve simulators. Available for purchase in ~6-8 weeks

    Does it have a middle resonator or just the two mufflers out back? Sounds plenty loud in the video.

    I'm about to go with a custom mandrel-bent dual 3" exhaust with borla mufflers and no middle resonator(s) on my S8. That video is a good guess what my set up will sound like.

    What are we looking at in terms of resonators and mufflers? What is the sound increase like?

    what will be the estimated cost and release date?
    will you system have a step increase in size? 2.25 before the middle resonator (x pipe) and 2.5 afterwards?

    Jason, any pictures installed on a vehicle from the back? I want to see how the tips look from a rear shot.

    Also and black exhaust tip options?

    Im digging that the tips aren't gigantic like the other aftermarket options

    Thank you. I did a custom Borla set up on my 2012 and really like the tone. I hope its competitively priced like the Magnaflow option or I might end up doing custom again. using a 24" Borla x pipe and straight pipes to tips. (Maybe this can be your race version to the touring version.)

    For clarification are you guys producing an exhaust system for the 3.0t motor with dual single exit tips?
    Didn't realize this was S6 specific

    Oh I'm in the same boat still no word on the exhaust and finding a muffler shop near me that is willing to do the resonator delete is showing to be pretty hard

    Pretty sure this would not be a direct fit to APR or Milltek catted downpipes, using the OEM positions is probably a better pipe configuration for flexibility of the end user.

    It does sound great! I reached out to Borla for my A6, they have no plans on doing an exhaust for it. :(

    But I am thinking of just going custom.

    If they made it so you didn't have to modify for APR downpipes I can see a lot of people going with this exhaust.

    So after waiting months for this system to arrive I finally have it installed and have some general first impressions / some vids and pics to go with. Sorry ahead of time for quality, done on a cell phone with windy conditions out, hope to update when I can and possibly find someone with a go pro if they still exist..

    Prior to this install I was running APR downpipes connected to the Magnaflow cat-back system which actually bolts directly to the APR with no modification needed (will be for sale soon for anyone interested). As expected the Borla requires some modification to connect to APR but was nothing too crazy and I believe AWE/Milltek require some as well (could be wrong there).

    First off this system is much louder, you could tell from the second I first turned on the car. Depending on what you're going for that could be great or maybe too much. Reminds me a lot of a Milltek non res system volume wise, cold starts can be annoying loud especially with a baby sleeping above the garage FYI. After it gets through that and warms up a tad it mellows out some. Any type of real acceleration and there's no way to hide the sound, hits right away. However, cruising speed around the city (65-75) the system is actually very mild and almost silent which I love. I was really worried about that after start up, expecting lots of drone. Anyhow, here's a few pics from the install showing the modifications I made, I'm sure there's other ways this could be done still using clamps but this is the way I went.     Sounds great. Trying to get an idea of how loud it is compared to see touring exhaust seems like it must be louder without resonators. Although I guess you have downpipesnwhcih probably increases the sound a good bit. Doesn’t seem like there are a lot of pops and bangs which I like over say Milltek nonres. The first video was a pretty hard launch but when your cruising does it sound relatively tame?

    I wish I could find more exhausts around me to hear. Having trouble buying without having heard one in real life!

    still trying to figure out the best combination for aggressive when you mash the pedal and more sedated on idle/cruising (but better sound than stock). if money was no object, seems like akra/ams downpipes would be the way to go with awe touring res/downpipes the alternative to not bleed cash.

    appreciate the video posts of your borla - it sounds awesome but a bit too aggressive for me

    Not Sure about an RS version, doubt it.

    As far as the volume on it I'm sure its enhanced quite a bit by having it connected to the APR pipes, I did not use the front portion of the Borla system at all. I know when I went from stock downpipes connected to Magnaflow and then added the APR pipes to Magnaflow later it was a huge difference. I have not noticed a lot of pops but the video there I was not using LC so the revs were in the lower rpm range before. Like I mentioned cruising around the city when no acceleration is happening it is surprisingly quiet, all depends on what RPM range you are in. I'll add a video of that later as well for anyone interested. Really without hearing it in person or having better sound equip its hard to judge. I'm still a little unsure about it but I do know that when I am looking to drive aggressive or in the mood for some noise I can't help but smile when I get on it. Almost drowns out all the the Roc-Euro noises in full acceleration.

    I went custom and used Borla Cans. I am in the process of looking for a resonated x pipe. For two reasons the rasp at high RPM's created by the nonresonated x pipe. and to down it down a bit. In the winter the resonance is bad until the car gets full warm. My car feels like a race car in the winter with the vibration.

    Looking to add a resonated x pipe and to have the hangers inspected to eliminate any vibrations from underneath.

    I have had the Borla on my 2013 Audi S6 since January and I could not be more satisfied. On the highway or cruising around town it’s not super loud and does not drone in the car. And when you put your foot down it sounds amazing. I have gotten so many compliments on how nice it sounds. I do agree that upon a cold start it does sound a little obnoxious but once the engine warms up it quiets down. I will try to post a video of what it sounded like right after I got it installed.
