Big Socal Euro 2016 B5 Group

All,

Socal Euro is coming up soon and our group/caravan last year was a ton of fun. It would be awesome to get all of us Socal Audi guys going to the show together and drive down/park together for the show. For a caravan, there are a few options so we can go with whatever the most people want.

When: September 4th, 1-8PM
Where: Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego, CA
Options:
1. Free spectator and driver parking, first come basis
2. Drag racing (who in the group is interested)

The two options for the caravan are that 1. Depart and arrive at Socal Euro Sunday, or 2. Depart Saturday, have fun in downtown San Diego that night, then head over to the event. Let me know what everything is interested in, posting here for more views so we can have a strong B5 showing this year.

I'll be getting there Saturday. I want to spend a day checking out what SD is all about. Hopefully a few more agree so we can get a Saturday caravan set up.

Haha, why did you do VIP?! The free parking is by far the best, plus we have space to spread out and get a big group parked together. I'm drag racing for sure FYI, probably just roll into it. Not feeling confident with full blown 5k 20PSI clutch drops yet lol.

It's $30 oh well. I'll end up parking with the group. I want to see what the thing can do, i'm going to try and break it haha.

Haha, well I know all my axles could use a rebuild but the rest of the car I'm completely confident in. I tried no lift shifting the other night for the first time, and mother of God this car rips.

Remember guys, it may be on Sunday but labor day is the following Monday so that's a plus if you're driving out from far away!

All, just giving an update since Socal Euro is about a week out. Who all is traveling here from out of California? I'm in the final stages of getting the caravan situated as well.

When are you all heading out? I'm pretty sure I'm going, but not sure if I'm going through LA or straight to SD.

The Socal group is all meeting in Costa Mesa at an E85/91 station so everyone can fill up, get coffee, food, etc. If you are able to swing through, we're leaving at 11am that Sunday and heading straight down to SD. Text me if you want more info!

All, here's the info on the caravan I've put together and group for those who want to join. We are also meeting a few guys down there that are traveling from other areas, as of right now we have 20 B5s confirmed and another 17 that are tentative. Could be a huge B5 showing so let's get this going!

Day: Sunday the 4th
Meeting Location: 2975 Edinger Ave, Tustin, CA 92780-7256, United States (parking garage)
Destination: 9449 Friars Road, San Diego, CA 92108
Time to Depart: 10:30AM

I along with a bunch of other guys have gotten suites at the Hard Rock in downtown San Diego for Sunday night so feel free to stay down there and come out with us that night.
