Dude! Sorry to hear about that! I hope you knocked that moron in the head and your body shop was able to reproduce the Prism Silver, truly an amzing color and nothing like I've ever seen. After I saw that I kinda wished I did go with PS, but the Sepang is just amazing and blue is my fav color, wouldn't change it for anything. I'll be back next week and shoot you a text

I made it a condition of the purchase. I would be the only one to unwrap it (well, with some help from them) and they wouldn't touch it except for doing the mech things like removing shipping blocks, attaching wipers etc.

Some other mods I forgot to mention: Alu Kreuz, Eurocode USS, SPC Control arms the last 2 were taken off my A5 and just swapping on the RS5. Lowering will happen as the weather warms up.

Was up till 1am yesterday, took the beast for a break in drive. This car is freaking amazing. The dsg is amazingly smooth, in manual the shifts are lightning quick. It responds very easily to way you accelerate. If you accelerate a little harder it doesn't want to upshift, it just hangs there. It was hard sometimes to keep it under 4k rpm. Ohh and I felt the diff kick in yesterday around a bend. Amazing! It literally pulls/pushes you around a corner. I can't wait till it's finally fully broken in, then I'm going to take her to a track.

I also purchased and used Red Line Engine Break In additive, it's supposed to help let the piston rings seat properly.

They already are, and have been since day one, when the car rolled off the production line, it was driven in a manner to properly burnish the cylinder walls, all the way, and all these break-in procedures and wisdom that people still follow today is beyond obsolete. All parts are already stretched/compressed, the engine has already went through max rpm runs, etc... The engine is broken in by the time it is delivered to dealer lots. Any and all break-in instructions in the manual are basically a cautionary insurance policy, against severe abuse.

But hey, if it makes you feel better...

Small update, wrapped the car in xpel. Thanks to Detailing Dynamics in Mineola, Long Island. It was middle of winter and they let me keep my car in their heated indoor storage for a week while the xpel fully cured

Shon, I havent been around in a while, but congrats on the car man! Great color choice!

I also agree with mxrz, ive never "broken in" a car. Ive always floored them off the lot. Just drive it like you want to drive it. Its ready to go.

Just a stunning car, Shon's combo is just beautiful especially if seen in person. Can't wait to see her all modded up.
