The boost gauge changes to red when full boost is reached.... seems like a cool feature to me if it is possible.

The red boost gauge indicates that over boost is enabled, which give the RS6/7 Performance 50Nm of extra torque when in dynamic mode. It does not indicate full boost.

Not that I know of. OBDEleven can enable some of the things that needed the green screen in the C7.

Ok cool I have OBDEleven. I want to enable cd/DVD slot to be able to copy cds on to my hard drive. But there no option in the apps. May have to get the pro upgrade and do it manually

I thought I lost the red boost gauge after APR tuning but today on a hard pull in 4th gear the boost gauge went red. Other pulls after APR tuning where I remember the boost gauge going red it has stayed the normal white.

Im trying to disable the amber corners but it appears in the latest version of vcds 18.9 the long coding helper has changed, instead of just selecting byte 10, a drop list is present, quite different.

You buy the dongle and then download the latest software directly from Ross-Tech for free.. Each time you connect to the internet or use the software and are connected to the internet, you will get a prompt to update the software if yours isn't the latest.. ..

two numbers from Left (02006D) are for turning headlights on when wipers are on.
I changed it 00 (00006D) to disable it.

Last two numbers (02006D) define the sensitivity of headlights.
I've changed them to 0F (02000F)

The sensitivity is using Hexadecimal notation.
5D=93％
14＝20％
0F＝15％　
0A＝10％

What cable are you guys using? My buddy loaned me his MICRO-CAN he used in his GTi.

It says "No response from controller! Is this case compatible with MICRO-CAN interface?"

Don't see this one working for me.

I do not have the needle sweep option. That byte is for needle illumination

I’m trying to enable the hidden menu on my C7.5 so I can turn on the Aux Heating for the venting feature.

When I go into 5F Info Electr and go to Adaptation I don’t have the option to select channels just a long drop down list. In that list I found “Developer Mode” which I activated but no change.

Anyone know the way around this?

I don't think you need the green menu to do this anyway. When I was trying to enable this feature, when I enabled it in VCDS the options automatically became selected in the green screen menu as well.

But, despite enabling everything the feature doesn't show in my MMI on my 2015 C7. I wonder if this feature was removed in NA for the later models.

Yeah with the pre-facelift it’s been easy. The facelift C7.5 has been a different story. I had it all set on my on B8 but no such luck!

Made some progress on enabling Aux Ventilation !!

For those with C7.5 skip the Green Screen.

In 5F enter security code this is key. Then you can go to Adaptations and enable everything to do with Aux Ventilation and Heating. This has shown the Menu but it’s still not enabled.

All other bits described in the original C7 instructions have been enabled. So any help is appreciated.

Doesn’t Auxiliary heating require a separate fuel burning device to be installed to heat the car? AFAIK it was never an option in the US, and without installing the hardware enabling the software isn’t going to do you any good.

If you want to set a timer for the aux ventilation then you will have to figure out how to enable this via vag-com. Otherwise if you press and hold the fan button after turning the car off the fan will continue to circulate for 15 minutes.

Of course. I only care about the Auxiliary Ventilation that can be enabled by VCDS. I live in SC Ventilation is far more important than a heater.

Think his goal is just to get Aux ventilation activated which is incorporated in the aux heating menu I think. I had it activated on my B8.5 allroad but never really used it since you had to program a timer each time pretty much. Would be cool to activate but on my c7.5 I just use the integrated blower feature by just holding the fan button once you’ve shut off the car.

Yes within the menu system you can set a duration and more importantly a time. So I can set it for 5pm for when I leave work. Or set it to run for an Hr while I run into a store or a meeting etc.

Also I don’t think I can press any Fan button since I only have 2 zone climate control I could be wrong.

2016 A6. Did you see my google drive link? I have noted on how to do this on a c7.5. The pdf of all the mods ( I didn't create) are for both c7 and c7.5 but sometimes they don't work for c7.5. I put sticky for what I changed and what worked for my c7.5.

Thank you for this! Good source of info. I'll try it again later today but in OBDeleven I couldn't seem to get the option in adaptation to change Distance Basic Setting Option - it's saying activated but isn't updating in the MMI for ACC selection. I think this is one case where VAG com is beating out OBDeleven :)
