    mpv314's Progression Thread

Hey guys, I'm somewhat new here and just got my car almost a year ago, spending most of my own life savings ($17,500) on the car. I'm turning 18 next march, and feel like its time for some upgrades.

I bought a non-s line Moro Blue 2006 A4 Quattro (named Titanic) with all the interior upgrades I could get (power seats, auto lights, dimming mirrors, etc.) and 34,xxx miles. Now its at about 40,200.

Here are some pics of the beauty when I first got it:

As of 10/18/12 I've had done minor modifications of replacing my halogen bulbs and fog lights to brighter halogen bulbs (ultra white), put a lamin-x slightly tinted protective film on headlights, black mesh sports grille from ECS tuning, and replaced my tail lights to JOM LED slightly smoked tail lights from ECS tuning. I have some pictures below.

Took a nice picture with the new bulbs and grille, thought I'd through it on.

As of 11/25/12 I had gotten my cat-back Magnaflow Exhaust system ordered and installed. I will provide a comparison sound clip as soon as I can.

Here are pictures of comparing the size of the exhaust tips. They look great.

On 12/9/12 I bought these O.Z. Ultraleggera 18x8 et45 Wheels. Got them for a steal, $670 shipped and they look really good. No bends, barely any curb rash, amazing. Here are some pics, sorry for shitty quality, pics from my iPhone 4.

4/29/13 ST Performance Coilovers came in the mail

5/8/13 After a long aggravating process of repairing a cracked spindle detected during the install of the ST Coilovers, I finally got it home. I am currently at 25.5" FTG all around, hands down one of the best mods I've ever done. The ride quality is pretty good. The comfort is still there, there is additional stiffness to the ride which is great, and I can go higher or lower if I want with just a jack stand and my own hands. I know I could definitely go lower, being at such a conservative drop, but with horrible roads like the ones I have around here, I would rather not. However if I do feel like I want to go lower, its no problem. Fantastic investment. Here are some pictures.

5/8/13 I decided to take a look at what the car would look like with a show-n-go. With the "Front Plate Law" in NY, I need it mounted or displayed. Obviously it look so much cleaner without the plate entirely, but I can't afford the frequent tickets I would be getting
