Took it apart, the screws are real. The outer shell is a plastic but doesn't feel like cheap plastic.

Threw on some momo 10.5" wide 20s. with 265wide falken tires

ordered bigger spacers for rear

Finally got my wheels back from powdercoating. Very happy with how they turned out. Getting tires mounted tomorrow. Got some vlack Center caps off eBay, but not sure if they are a hair too small. Currently plastidipping the original star shaped center caps black right now.

Thanks super happy with the color. Keep snapping pics to try and really capture them. Need some really good sun. Want to see how much they really shine.

So mounted the summers yesterday! Falken Azenis 275/35R20 tires. Apparently one rim was actually slightly bent, but it balanced out well and drives fine so maybe I'll grab a 5th for a spare at some point.

Also have a fun Saturday morning ahead of me:

-LM Engine Flush followed by
-LM oil change with Mann Filter and Ceratec
-NGK spark plugs (because I'm at 71k and don't know if they've been done at all)
-replace supercharger bleeder screws with 034motorsport ones for piece of mind (hopefully)
-Cabin air filter
Will inspect belts while I'm at it as well since I see the supercharger belt is past service interval.

Got the engine flush done and oil changed with LM Molygen Oil. This stuff is neon green. Doesn't seem like it should be going in the engine oil oh well. Also changed the spark plugs. Driver's side was a pain because of the expansion tank, but I got them all done. The old ones don't look awful, not sure if they have ever been changed. Also managed to not strip the supercharger bleeder screws and replaced them with the 034 metal ones. Piece of mind for the future. 71k miles as I pulled in the garage. Hopefully another 130k to go with proper maintenance. Thankful for all the diy videos already out for the platform. Makes tackling some of the more complex jobs less intimidating.

Been using Molygen for years, it’s some good stuff . As designed, it neon so that it helps find oil leaks with a black light.

Why are the seats 2 toned?

Spark plug service done yesterday as I had no idea when the PO did them. By the looks of them, they looked original, but not terrible for 40k miles.

Also installed the JHM intake tube. With a peekaboo airbox mod, still only a modest increase in SC whine at lower rpm’s. New high flow filter is on order to bring out more noise .
