What did you do with your c7 today?

Got my H&R front and rear sway bars installed on the S7 along with the Eurocode transmission and top/bottom differential inserts mounted. Did it all at once as it really made the rear upper dif mounts easy with the sway bar out.

the rear sway bar can be a bit of a PITA as i had to unbolt the frame supports and the muffler. I also had it up on rear ramps and then had to jack one side up to gain some room with the suspension. really not that bad, but some of the videos don't show all of that. I guess some cars are different than others. The front is a breeze.

hell, the hardest part on these cars is getting them in the air. I still don't have a good way to get it up on 4 jackstands. very poor design by audi to not able to jack the car and place a jackstand. what should be a few min job becomes a huge PITA

That's pretty much how I did it as well. Put the rear on ramps, then jack up one side slightly to get just enough clearance to snake in the sway bar. Those rear control arms are very large which is what makes it such a PITA to install the rear sway.

Finally tinted my 2017 a6, did the front windows and a light smoke on the headlights

next up is wheel powdercoat and a stage 1 APR tune!

Finally did 'the service'....car in service mode for oil screen/valve/pressure and controle sensors...
Going with oil filter relocation kit with oil pressure sensors...meanwhile redoing the insulated heatshielding and some extra heat reflection tape/hoses...
WMI nozzle on the TS's and manifold, upgrading the charge cooling system with extra cwa100-3 pump (two in total), extra rs3/rs6 auxilairy cooler and two coolant temp (before and after sensors) and maybe a few other things i forgot/working on.....
Offcourse while it is all open, replaced the spark plugs (was normally planned in 5-10.000km but fresh new start now).
Still waiting on few parts, luckly she can rest as long as needed but already missing not beeing able to start her up

TDI had fuel door actuator replaced, funny experience last week trying to get fuel and it wouldn't open. Luckily was not empty and the service department was still open so they did a release so I could fill up and replaced the parts. Had a B9.5 A4 loaner, not a bad car and nice to experience the newer MMI and little things Audi does well on the interiors like back lit steering wheel stalk functions.

Not today but over the weekend.

Saturday - finished repairs for the passenger side cat converter.

Sunday - took it through the car wash and out for a drive.

I need to source a new grill and a replacement lug nut cover. Noticed that the chrome around the grill is bubbled and ready to flake. Thinkin RS honeycomb style for a replacement. The lug nut cover is cracking through the arm that radiates out from the pull hole.

Upgraded from stg 1 to 2. SRM intakes installed. Cut them for ease of maint later (didn’t want dealer to freak out when they change the plugs)

HP fuel lines and ethanol sensor installed. Works well.

Even my fuel economy on 20% E was pretty good.
