I've assembled all of my parts except for the 034 stabilizer, which is back-ordered. Guess they didn't know, when you put it on a Black Friday sale, you need to increase inventory. 4-6 weeks they say...

170+ on C7 RS cars IIRC

I was planning to install some sort of grill in the wheel liner untill a few days ago i found these on a german fb group.
Not sure if they are facelift S liners but 4G0853887K and 4G0853888K.
Didn't test fit them but a few quick meassurements tells they seams to fit my pre facelift (non vents version).

Added a wireless charger. Had to run wires to it through the center console since it uses a cigarette lighter adapter and I don't have one of those in that compartment. Pretty happy with the turn out. IMG_20210115_115525.jpg

Haven't driven with it yet, seems to hold fairly well just wiggling it. I'm on a OnePlus 8 pro so it's a decent size phone, with a textured case as well. I'll update when I take it for a spin.

I was home and took the time to swap back to my old rs6 c6 replica wheels for the winter.
Meanwhile it was a good time to testfit the new vented wheel liners. Well what you know, perfect fit (well after trimming some stuff to fit my custom under panel that has additional cooling vents witch were lacking on the S aswell).
Anyway, very happy with the result (OEM looking) and adds to the 'cooling adjustments' to make the best of it.
Will come in handy for my next cooling upgrade...divorced system with +10 liter expansion tank up top, extra stock auxillairy radiator and new pump(s) combined with my current wagner HX :). Hope it all helps a little...

Did not know the handles were being transferred to the existing assemblies to save the lock function. I shall do this on the TDI but need to stare and compare the wiring harness cause my TDI I think gained lights from the Euro door cards. For my RS7 door cards from Europe I just transferred my existing RS7 assemblies and wiring harness over.

Depends...normally they comes essambled, but you can indeed set them over :). Luckly i sourced a second hand kit that had the wanted switches etc.

It’s kinda nuts the RS6 doesn’t have rear door locks considering it’s a wagon. I guess the lock mechanism being left out was for weight savings 😂

I had considered this mod years ago and decided not to... After doing it last month, it is a cool mod. It is all in the details.

That "hard 'leather' of the original parts!" is hard because it isn't leather. It's leatherette, plastic.

Took delivery of some mods that will be done in the spring...




Had a hell of a time finding a carbon rear diffuser/valence for the sline rear bumper (at a reasonable price) that would look like the RS7 but I managed to find one on ebay (from China) ... took the chance and it actually looks decent. Won't know if it fits well until the spring but so far so good...
