What did you do with your c7 today?

Removed that chrome trim on trunk lid. Looks way better. Stripped the license plate screw holders right out of the base, so that sucks. Also why tf did Audi put 3M tape behind the holder? PITA. Installed the SRM short pipes today including RS6 airbox outlets and RS6 K&N filter...lets it breath :).
Soon DS1 to make the most out of them.

They're the best! they are quite deep, and doesn't affect the lower pocket, they hold in pretty well so far.

I had the same kind for a W212 E350 i had a while back, but eventually needed to put double sided 3m because it kept sliding everytime i grabbed it to close the door.

I don't see it happenig that much with the C7 becase surrounding the insert is a plastic handle not leather.


Does your insert slide up over time from closing the door by grabbing it? or has it been pretty stable?

Nope and i’ve had mine in for over 3 years, never had them slip out. I put some black felt tape on the inner surface to prevent whatever i put in there from rubbing or vibrating.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they would only work on the A7/S7 because the handles are different for the doors vs the A6/S6

Since a friend in Brazil wanted me to ship her one (cheaper then directly) and an other friend here needed one aswell, order myself a new gen one aswell.
The old dongle being doing its work perfect over 4 years now, but lets keep updated and enjoy this one as much.

My OCD sets in during winter when the A7plus is hibernating... had the driver's side seat trim re-stitched and recovered because the stitching was not straight.

That alcantara on the side of the seats looks outstanding.. I’ve got red stitching on my seats and think red alcantara on the side — or black with red stitching — would be really cool.

Where did you have that work done?

I purchased the Alcantara from Gulf Fabrics in Tampa, an local upholstery shop did the cover and sewing work, my Audi dealer did the labor.

Fitment isn’t 100% but most installs I’ve seen have been pretty good. I’m happy with the results.

Sadly no on it being with another enthusiast. Parted it out before trading it in, had not done anything beyond the point of no return so it wasn't hard to put the stock parts back on.

Installed P3 Gauge. I bought the cheaper version without the whole air vent assembly, so had to take the air vent out and modify it, turned out really good. I love it.
