Ha, I saw those a couple of weeks ago and didn't jump on them because I have the mirror pods, and thought it too much... they will be a nice touch on the "widebody."

There were 2 sets on eBay recently, believe both were Carbon Designz.

Made some more progress on the audio upgrade project today. Wrapped up passenger door and started drivers door.

Looks like we got the same steering wheel, from different company tho, but I'm pretty sure they are all made in the same factory in China, lol. Installing this weekend.

Sold my 2013 S6 tonight. I replaced it with a 2020 M5 Competition.

It was a good 7 years with the Audi but it was time to say goodbye. I was concerned about the turbos blowing up and needing a costly repair, and wanted to sell it before that happened.


Went with Snapper Rocks Blue for the BMW.

The aftermarket stereo gear was all removed and will be sold off as I am able to find buyers.

The Bose system was reconnected and is fully functional again. I had to purchase a few replacement parts for the Audi to get it back to stock condition, like the A pillar and kick panel trim.

I'm not a BMW fan but I can see myself getting this car in iridium silver with the Sport Package (gloss black wheels, blue calipers, and bigger trunk spoiler) Stock has 617HP I think but people have dyno this car and it was 617 HP but AT THE WHEELS!

Sadly they will need to wait a little bit more because car inspection any day now (not sure how picky they would be with seat replacements, normally i should have documents and proof from dealer/audi etc...we will see next year). But for now going for safe inspection pass.

Speaking of...yesterday swapped the modified milly and put back the "stock" exhaust with buildin sport cats to pass emissions (i hope, but no issues last year). While the milly was off, i heatwrapped the entire exhaust.
Also testfitted my custom driveshaft carrier. Will fit perfectly, ordered PU to cast the bushing now that i checked and confirmed driveshaft bearing.

Bored after work and experimenting with something i had in my head for awhile and since they becomming more popular: lambo URUS shift paddles. They can be bought and adjusted to fix the 'normal' shiftpaddles, but since i have the R8 wheel, i should need to go custom. Just made a quick 2D example ala URUS style. It could work and look decent (maybe still some adjustments). Maybe i make a 3D model out of it and let friend 3D print one as test.

Hahaha, touché your crate looks quite large. My delivery came right before a zoom meeting, guy unloaded in 10 minutes which was killing me during the back to back meetings to have to wait to open up the goodies. Your seats will look very nice installed!

If you ever can, you definalty should look into wrapping the dash with matching stitching :).

Did two things... Got new wheels. They are Audi OEM Speedline 3430 wheels. Wheels are 19x9 +33. Also hand washed and waxed my car. I know this is blasphemy, but it's probably been about 10 years since I hand washed a car.

Finished this today. Took longer than expected but only because I decided I didn't like the quality of wire and rewired the system using monster cable wires.

Nineteen days of ownership, started some of the basics. Changed the air filter, old was nice and gray. Changed the oil, done whining about lack of drain plug.
Say, is nasty dark brown oil a bad thing? </s> Dealers really suck with used cars sometimes, they don't bother doing anything other than detailing. Mine, the tires were super low on air (TPMS toast I guess) and the brakes grabbed on one side. At least I made them fix the brakes before purchase.

Nice. Thanks for the update. I was thinking about doing a custom setup as well but wasn't sure what mufflers to use.
