Yes radar detector work, if the LEO is lazy and leaves their system on which most of the time the do getting Ka alerting on the freeway/highway can save your ass. K is a little noisy at times, X is useless to try to monitor. Laser is laser, without a shifter you're tagged if it goes off and it isn't a false positive.

I thought that I would get alot of bs alerts too like the older radars from back in the day. This escort unit actually filters out bogus alerts. 1st they I got couple K band alerts with no cops in the area, today driving by the same spots, the radar said stored and it doesnt alert in those areas anymore.

In 2 days, saved me 3 times already with a Ka band alert way before I was near the trooper car.

It is well worth it imo

You can just dremel the vertical piece off the back of your OEM badge and then epoxy the horizontal tab behind it onto your honeycomb grille, which is what a bunch of folks do. Takes about 5 minutes of work.

Agree. The latest iteration of the Escort Max CI 360 provides great Ka coverage and filters out much of the bogus signals on the roads. It's laser shifting is also excellent front and rear.

A combination of the netradar radar detector and ALP laser shifters is outstanding and possibly even more effective (and less expensive).

Lucky is a understatement, i was shocked. I guess I ran into a trooper that was in a good mood, just got laid or he secretly loves the S6 lol. Either way he made my day, rest of my trip for 10 miles was at 72mph and cruise control

The filter has a nice venturi/velocity stack inside, as a separate piece. I took a chance on the brand, but satisfied with the quality, at $65

Finally got my TAG reflectors in. Pretty happy with them. The car should have just come this way. The yellow reflectors up front didn't match anything and looked very out of place.

Got the car back yesterday first time testing it out today... I’m impressed again.
It was Smooth before but everything got smoother.

Sn: had a few newer B9 cars as loaner... the tech is nice but they feel like downgrades.

When did you order from Neidfaktor? I ordered carbon trim for the door armrests on my A5 in early Feb, and still haven't received anything. For me they're worst than Carbon Designz.
