I'm trying my hand at light painting photography and this is the result of my first attempt... Obviously still much to learn and improve upon, but pretty satisfied for a first timer!

Thanks! What kinds of shots are you looking for? I take it probably something more urban if you're not looking for the mountains?

Being in and around LA, there are so many opportunities for shoots it's almost overwhelming sometimes, but around downtown and the Arts District are always good places to start...lots of gritty textures, colorful graffiti, and atmosphere. Long Beach also offers a lot of nice backdrops with the ocean and ports too. I think the most important thing to keep in mind is that the settings should complement the car and enhance it, and not take away from the main attraction—so nothing too cluttered

B-E-A-U-tiful. Love seeing other non S-Line A5's looking so damn good. Just such a beautiful car in the first place. You do an amazing job of taking care of it.

Your photography skills are nothing short of amazing as well. I'm looking to get into it as well. Just saving for a camera. May have to ask you for some tips when I finally do get one.

Yeah, it's amazing how quickly the neighborhood can change from going one or two blocks in the wrong direction. I've definitely been through my share of sketchy ass areas looking for locations, but fortunately without any incidents...just keep a full tank of gas so you're never stranded anywhere

I looked but could not find, can you supply the specs on the wheels, spacers if any, and what tire your running in this shot. That stance is perfection.

The wheels are 19x9.5 et20 8mm and 12mm spacers in the front and rear, respectively, wrapped in Falken Azenis 453's (255/45/19)

Thanks, I'm really debating going up to 20's or staying with 19's. I love the look of 20's, my concern is ride/noise on crappy roads, and the extra weight. I'm really blown away that your on 19s in that shot and some of the others, it looks really good to me. After seeing your set up, I think I can get the look I want with the ride and handling of 19s. I also like the fact that 19s (wheel and tire) area bout 5-7 lbs lighter per corner and I know that sprung weight adds up. Whats your thoughts on 19's vrs 20 decision? and also I like the PSS 265/35 19 tire, running that now,any thoughts on that size?

Personally I think 20s are too heavy for an A5 (even with a tune), especially if they're not flowform or forged. I definitely felt the weight when I drove, especially during my spirited driving, but I'd be lying if I said they looked incredible. Overall I think the 19s suit my needs and my car a lot better than the 20s did. I'm adding a couple of photos below of my car on 20x10.5 square for reference (no spacers).

In regards to tire size, I think 265's work just fine on a 9.5 rim...I had Toyo T1 Sports in a 265/45/19 when I had my VMR V810s and they looked good and meaty.

Dang those 20's look good but. Thank you very much for your opinion, I appreciate the fact you have run both sizes and can compare them. As of this moment I'm thinking 19x9.5 ET 20 with the PSS 265/35 R19 then use TBD wheel spacers once I have them on to perfect the poke. Thoughts on that? BTW I love your custom plate.

That sounds good to me! That sounds like a safe setup. I'd certainly hold off on the spacers until you see how they actually fit before determining how conservative or aggressive you wanna get with your spacing. Good luck with the transition!
