    Honestly, even the 295's are a bit much at times to have in the front. I mean a lowly Veyron only has 265's in the front. I just worry that staggered setups will only contribute to additional under steer.

    295/30/20 increases the diameter vs stock, how accurate is your speedo if you don't mind me asking?
    305, what offset?
    the minimum will be 305 but has to work when very low, as this my be the track only setup, so semi or slicks have to be available in that size ...

    happy with 275 at the front but thinking of 255-265, understeer not necessary, if you setup your suspension properly, R8 runs staggered as stock ...

    295/30 vs 275/30 is less than a 2% increase in overall diameter, the speedometer for the most part is still pretty accurate.

    The Veyron comment on might part was a joke, you can't compare the RS5 with the massive engine way out front to an R8 or a Veyron... Of course those cars run staggered setups but they won't understeer like ours because the engine won't be pulling the car off of the proper line through the corners. Understeer really only occurs when the front tires lose grip before the backs do, putting on smaller tires in the front (relative to the back) won't help that.

    hi marzz, i also got my Kline exhaust installed a few days ago and I'm experiencing some significant drone around 1k8 rpm. Do you have this issue with ur system?

    cheers, the RS5 hubs are thicker then S5 so the offset would have to be different ...

    significant drone!? what do you mean, with valves closed? do you run resonators?
    what Kline version did you get?
    got no drone whatsoever, loving the sound, nothing like it around ...

    I'm in process of swapping my centre section (resonated xpipe) for Kline resonator and xpipe separately:

    i got the stainless steel one with non-res down pipe and resonated pipe, the drone no matter the value is closed or opened it is pretty loud around 1800 rpm, when value is closed the drone can be heard only when the car is moving. if i put the transmission in N or P there is no drone. and is it because the resonated x-pipe? i found out that it is not that loud from outside, today i was driving my buddy's car in the back and i can barely hear the exhaust when the windows are rolled up

    Dude, I've driving a supercharged Holden SS with around 720bhp and 1300NM torque and that thing was INSANE! Would love to go for a ride in your car though, the Audi V8 will be so much more refined and smoother on power delivery. The supercharged Holden with the 6.1L V8, Noah's Ark pushrod technology, was just a nightmare!

    If you're getting significant drone and Marzz is not, and also the sound inside is out of proportion to what you hear outside, then the exhaust is touching somewhere or installed improperly and that's transferring sound to the cabin. You should double check the fitment first and make sure all the correct hanging materials were used. Happened to a friend of mine, he just installed it and couldn't stand how loud it was. He had the installation double checked and the shop claimed the fittings had shifted. After correction his car purred. If that doesn't help you could also search 'cheap drone fix' in the B8 a4 section.

    sa27 - is it loud or is it drone, did you get the loud version, they make the quitter version as well, just to clarify, did you contact Kline
    also double check the fitment and valve connections, if they both work properly
    you should not get drone at all, I used to run non-resonated down pipes with x-converter in the centre and stock rear mufflers which are straight through when opened and had no drone or little, when closed it was very quite and no drone whatsoever, not sure how you can get drone using all components of the exhaust system with stock cats and headers, don't get me wrong if you change the headers sound situation changes dramatically, swap cats or run carless and sound levels go ballistic so have to reengineer the whole system again, hence my farther changes ...

    just got my tune tweaked and German Motoring TCU upgrade for stronic installed yesterday at CPC, while PESed, the stronic got a bit jerky due to obvious reasons, will do some more driving and see how it all goes, also may find some time during this Christmas to do the cheap apikol upgrade, LED interior swap and perhaps something else ... (?!)
    also, had this f***n lever sensor error for a while now (prior PES install) so ordered all parts from stealership in Poland for third of the price including shipping, so we have to strip the stronic some times in January as well, then hitting the strip and track ...
