Need some help with recoding. My attempts have failed to recode my spare engine ecu from automatic to manual transmission. I have a full version of VCDS and genuine vagcom cable. I have tried to recode it from 06251 to 06001 and it just reverts back after each attempt. I have tried this with the car running and off with just the key turned to ACC. People tell me there is a login code I need from the dealer. If this is true can anyone help me with this process. Thanks
