Change the sideskits
I'm also changing my carbon fiber hood to a Boser style carbon fiber hood
Bought some new Black BBS Ch rims

As far as my project goes I currently have my block at the machine shop and once I get it back I'll update my project with some pics. Here are some old random pics of the different projects or just a different my car has had in the past.
nice looking car. not a fan of the mirrors, but hey, its your car not mine
have fun with the build and when it seems most frustrating, just drink a beer, take a break, and hang out with friends and loved ones. sometimes you just need to take a break and recharge if you know what i mean; but it all pays off in the end.
by the way, welcome to the 'zine! happy tuning.
RIP:
Brilliant Black 01 A4 1.8T QMS
GIAC-X. AEM Dryflow. BlinkTek. 710N (BOV). Rebuilt K03s. C4T Delete, AC Delete, B7 DSMIC, custom charge piping.
Pearl White 99 A4 1.8t QMS
spent 5 saturdays Frankensteining the powerplant, manual gearbox, quattro drivetrain, suspension, brakes, and
electronics from the black car after it wrecked, only to wreck the white one one 2 weeks after getting it running.
What rear lip is that?!?!?! How did you get it to fit?!
I bought it on ebay a long time ago and I had a shop paint it and install it. Not to sure how they installed it.

Good luck with the eurodyne tune.. Many others on this site have ditched it because it sucks.
Based on my research I have to convert from an AEB to an AWM to have wideband in my car. Having an AEB it's harder to tune, you have to deal with the MAF, TB and deal with the ECU being shipped for it to be chipped. As you can see my last engine setup I had a 4" ford MAF running with 630cc injectors and it ran fine, but it's a pain to try to get the MAF right. Now when I do the conversion I'm gonna go MAFless. I know the 2 brands - AEM or innovate wideband, but I thought they're just gauges that give you information? I didn't know you can use them as part of your tuning. Well I got a really good deal for all the wiring and such. $200 for everything w/ecu
I didn't know people thought Eurodyne sucked, I thought people liked there stuff. Well I guess I have to do more research. The idea is to use injectors 1000cc and higher. So if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Thanks!!! The rims are Stern ST1 and by the way I already prepared myself, I got a 12 pk of Red Strip, 12 pk of Miller Light and a 12 pk of Blue Moon. So I got several choices, depending on the mood
The 06 wheels are nicer but sounds lke an awesome project
Thanks!! The problem I had with those rims was that one was a little bent and in order to get a new one I had to order it from Europe and it was to expensive. I can't remember the brand of the rims
Hey Rob, who has ditched eurodyne because it sucked?
Are you talking about the narrowband tunes?
As far as the maestro suite is conserned...
While it continues to get updated it gets better and better each time.
-Super fast data logger
-Full control of the maps
-Soon to have launch controll/2step built in.
Should I dare say one day we will see tune on the fly? That would be a dream.

My thoughts right now is getting the maestro suite with the 1000cc file, I heard a lot of good things about it. We'll see though, since it'll be one of the last things I buy.

I think he is talking about the narrowband DBC tunes.
In regards of painting the hood or not. I'm going to wait towards the end of my project, just because of funds. There's lots of money envolved with this project, but once I have the bumpers painted, the hood on and my new Black BBS on. I'll see how it looks.
Here's where I'm getting part of my ideas from. The difference between my car with the first picture is that my rims have a red strip instead of the chrome and also my center caps are red, not black. Not counting that my hood is still cf.
Here an idea how my car could look with the Boser cf.
My goal is to have my car ready so I can take it to the 2010 Eurowerks. So based on that and funds, I'll see if I can paint it or not. I think both of these cars look good, so if I end up not being able to paint the hood by that time I think I should be ok. I know both of these A4s are not B5s, so my car will look different, but I think overall I'm going to be happy with the result.
As I am not a huge fan of the exterior of the car (not quite my style, more OEM+ kind of guy) it does all fit together well and looks good. I do like where the engine build is going and would like to see what you think of the Eurodyne Maestro suite.
My friend works for Honda R&D and just got the new AP2 S2000 tune for a great deal from Hondata and I really hope that VW/Audi tuning can get to that level. We have played with it and it seems amazing some of the stuff you can do.
One question can you use the Eurodyne suite to go Mafless?
Anyways excited to see how your project goes.
01 B5 1.8TQM Sport. Mostly stock for now other than GIAC flash.
I believe you have to provide the specs you want on the file and then you flash the ecu. From there you can use the Maestro 7 to tweak the tuning. Personally I'm not to familiar on how to use Eurodyne Maestro 7 since I didn't buy it yet, but here's a couple of links that can help with any questions you may have.

I like the color contrast on those b6's. I really like your setup (minus the side skirts) and look forward to seeing the wheels on the car, hood installed and it on the road!

PM ME: Parting out all Stage I parts
Quick update! It's not fully complete, but here's the new look! I still have to add the black mesh on the bumper, paint the FMIC black, install the black FMIC pipes, etc... But I'm going to do that once I'm ready to swap my engine.
Not a fan of the Boser hood for some reason, I never liked the look too much. Loose the trunk spoiler. Loose the ATP sticker on the sideskirt, this isn't a Civic and stickers don't add any power.
There is a specific section for builds on this forum. Might be a better idea to move this over there, don't ya think?
574HP 02 S4 6sp - Tial 605 snails with meth; 2.5" Custom Inlets; AWE SMICs; EVOMS DVs; KW V3 Coilovers; 3" DPs with Magnaflow HFC; Dual 2.5" Catback Exhaust (First quad exhaust in the US); 18" Oettinger RZs; AWE DTS; Front 350mm Cayenne 6 piston kit & Rear 321mm Cayenne 4 piston Kit; Custom-fitted RNS-E; H&R Sways; etc.
Needs more lower! At least your front does.. Is your rear sitting lower? Gonna put hood latches on your cf hood?
I wish I can have it lower, here in Chicago you can't because of the streets suck, speed bumps, and some place when you go in to a store the curbs are pretty high that it scrape as you get out. For the hood I'm getting Aerocatch.

When I created the post I wasn't able to create the post on the build forms, but it said I didn't have access. So I just created it here.

Hopefully we can meet at the next Audi meet. I wasn't able to go to the one today because I had to help out my cousin, but I hope for the next one I can go.
