The RS6 block has a crank that can only be used with the RS6 torque converter and auto trans. That could be any other audi v8 block. Best bet would be a B6 S4 block and the old s2 trans.

Exactly. I believe that is a regular 4.2 block, which takes RS6 parts no problem.

Yeah I'm pretty sure other then the white widebody avant that was posted a little while ago this is #1 in my book. for the guys that built that for sure! Countless man hours and very close attention to detail perfected this build for sure.

The hood scoop is only somewhat functional. The air hitting the leading edge of the hood creates a high pressure area but the area in front of the scoop is low pressure. I'd bet the majority of the intake air comes from the cowl or the engine compartment.

This is an older v8, not the new one. The newer v8s use timing chains. It's probly out of a 4.2 A6 or something.

The RS6 crank can be mated easily with an o1e. The block from the rs6 has a different bolt pattern because of the bigger tc/trans housing but an adapter plate and custom flywheel would work. A custom flywheel would negate any crank issues as well. Or you could just use the 4.2 block.

Sick as shit -- the only thing I dislike though is the cut out front bumper. I understand its for more airflow, but I would have just left it clean. But besides that small little detail, the car is perfect IMO.. Hopefully my Imola RS4 project is done soon too :)
