New Pics of my Trunk

On the weekend I work on the design of my trunk.
I bring them back into the original look and i like this in association with the wood on the floor.

What do you think about the new look?

whats up with the flame grill on the sub? you have flames airbrushed over the hood too? don't even want to think about what the inside of that poor Audi looks like :(

and is that a vinyl of a city outline on your rear window? lol......

The number one thing I don't like is the ugly speaker grill. I don't care much for all the trunk loss or the wood. (wood would be cool in an Avant). Getting rid of that grill will make it look a lot cleaner though.

As for you tail lights hell no. Also what is on your back window.

i don't mind the sub... not feeling the cover at all dont really see the point of having one. also not a fan of the wood doesnt fit in our trunks, and the taillights look like something you would find on honda tech.. just my .02 though to each his own i guess

I think you hold it too much on the series condition. If I have see Audis in the forum, I think, too: Oh, you have not ever seen this car? Oh no it was black not red. Hardly a Audi is individually. Ultimately, all the same.

Those tails are hideous. Nice clean sub install though, much better than the typical side mounted boxes.

For the record, you would get flamed until the end of days for tails like that on Honda-Tech. If it's not JDM Honda part, it's worthless.

I actually love wood floors, but not for Audis, strictly a VW thing. Plus your wood doesn't seem to fit there, a lighter color may have been nicer

thats true but i have seen things like that on there as well... just cause everyone has there own style doesnt mean it belongs on the car

c'mon he's in Germany. trends have got to be different. Either way it's his car and he's proud of it, no need to be so harsh. By posting though you are basically asking for our opinions, and well... it doesn't match all the audis you see on this site, so nobody will like it haha.

Speaking as a Greek-American, in Europe all cars(not just Audis) look the same. EVERYONE gets altezza tail-lights for their cars and gets the one massive sticker on the rear windshield. Thats the trend there just as we have our trends here. Seeing as though I have been exposed to both and have a taste for both... The altezzas have way too many seperate bulges within them, it just gets confusing. The vinyl on the windshield(from the little I can see is too solid, too many lines. As far as the install goes, remove the sub grille and you have something that I could respect. Wood isn't my thing but it shoes effort and could look good.

Seriously though - I do like the hardwood look. Yours just looks too square - I would like it better if it had some contour and matched the original shape. I don't know why only VW's can do it. Do Audi's have to use marble tile?

Dude there are alot of other tail lights you can get for the car. There are alot of LED lights that dont look like the Millenium Falcon just went by.

Also BTW that subwoofer cover has been played out here for so long. Everyone got over that 4-6years ago.

Also we dont have a problem with the hard wood floor. I rocked it in my VR6 MK3. Its just your car is grey and the trunk has gray carpet and a pine color would have been a little better then the redwood.

Also its not that our Audis all look the same here is just that we wanna keep them clean. The altezza lights and crazy underglows and chrome stuff is just not our thing over here. We leave that to the Rapers, and scrappers and donks and so on.

i actually don't mind the sub or the wood. I think it's pretty clean, even though the sub cover isn't my thing.

Unfortunately, no matter how many times i look at those tails, i can't like them. ;\ but hey, if you do, then more power to you :)

Johnboy, the tails look like beehives. But if you like them, you like them. You did not ask me or anyone here for money to buy them, so, go on with your bad self! Get jiggy with it and rock those tails no matter what anyone here says! You go boy!

I really don't think I want to see what else he has done to that poor Audi . I just got back from the ER about 10 minutes ago because i had dug my eyes out with a rusty spoon.
