    Mine is close....Its my commuter car also, its a bit stiff but worth the look and handling.

    I think your shocks will handle it but eventually you're gonna want new ones. If you're gonna go 2" drop and install springs, might as well do the shocks if you're gonna touch all 4 corners.

    If budget does not allow for Bilsteins or Konis at least replace the shocks w/ a lesser brand, at least they'll be new.
