    Contacted bOOOOstedAudi in late nov 2016 regarding a pass side tail light. He said he had one in "perfect" condition. I order the light and it arrives in a reasonable amount of time.

    Fast forward 3 months

    03/30/17 I open the package and find a DRIVER side tail light with chipping along one edge. I reach out to bOOOOstedAudi with my cell to reach out and he says he will exchange for it for me.
    04/14/17 I message saying ive not received anything. he says i should have received it some time ago but he will check. I imagine he will check tracking, but i am no provided any.
    04/17/17 I again ask for an update but get no response
    04/20/17 He asks me for a good shipping address, which is strange as i thought this was already in the mail. He says he filed a fedex claim, but i dont know how he lost my address... asks for my email and goes silent
    04/20/17 I advise him i cannot wait any more and i am buying the light i need locally and to please refund me. He says ok.
    04/24/17 Asks for my paypal info to refund me. i provide all the transnational as well as my address info. we agree on a postal money order since they are traceable and for him to send first class mail (as it has tracking)
    05/07/17 Message him again stating i have no package or tracking
    05/08/17 Says he will forward it (tracking or letter?) today. I text him and am told he ill get back to me shortly
    05/09/17 I text again. For the first time i state that im getting upset about the delay. he says it WAS mailed and he just needs to get me tracking.
    05/18/17 Message him again stating i will make a post if this is not resolved by the end of the week. he reply's stating it was returned and he lost my number.
    05/19/17 get a text asking if im in New York (i live in Pennsylvania). asks AGAIN for my name and address. then asks how much the refund is supposed to be. sends me a picture of a letter which my address telling me hes sending me $60 refund and $20 gift card... like im jumping at the opportunity to buy something form him again.
    05/21/17 guy starts texting me after 10pm. i see the message at 12 am and shoot off a pissed off reply telling him he needs to figure out a way to resolve this and i go to sleep. HE TEXTS ME BACK AT 12:33 and 12:40am WTF!!! I GOT WORK IN THE AM.

    THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

    Hello Roman. You have been issued a full refund with an additional 20% of the purchase price for you inconvenience along with a $20 gift certificate if you ever need anything else. So basically. You have been given almost 200% over the original purchase price.

    And you should have received your tracking numbers but you won't reply. Sorry again. Thanks.

    yes there are quite a few on here with just a quick search. it looks like every time he made amends (apparently including this one in the b6 classifieds) but the issues seem entirely the same across all incidents. im not a very active or helpful member but monetary issues are very cut and dry. hopefully op will confirm he was made whole (and some)

    I can vouch for him, I've bought multiple parts from him and he has always delivered. He's shipped parts to me in the past and I've driven out to his place to pick some larger parts up. I'm sure this was just an exception, to anyone else looking to buy from him, he's a stand up guy. I don't know what exactly happened here on his side, but it looks like he made it right in the end.

    bOOOOstedAudi I've seen your reply in the B6 classified to the OP's other thread. And all the replies from your supporters.You may have a good reviews for selling here on AZ.

    But that was a real POS scumbag move for the way you treated the OP (rgtoque), you gave him the run around for almost 60 days and that's effed up. All this over $60. Judging by all the parts that you sell on here this negative feedback just isn't worth it.

    bOOOOstedAudi in your defense, you did make it right and that's a blessing. Hopefully that's enough for rgtoque to find forgiveness for your shenanigans.

    i dont need your $200. if i had this much trouble now what makes you think im going to use some $20 gift certificate. id like some proof (tracking) you were not full of crap and actually sent the earlier packages and refund. also, why do i need to reply in order to receive tracking? this is starting to feel like a pay for play game.

    AJacksA4, no it was not made right in the end. i never got my parts, never got any tracking numbers, and i did not get a refund yet. i only got traction on this issue when i said i would make a posting about it. ive burnt more time and effort than anyone should on a forum transaction.

    its actually a 3hr difference but i really dont see how it matters. if you can part a car out and sell items online you should be able to count hours on a clock.

    Dubbed-Out, i dont know what you mean by made right... im not getting back the time ive invested in this venture. i actually ended up paying double for the tail light locally because i had a potential buyer for the car and could not wait for the seller here to get his shit together and get me a tracking number. ive also not gotten any tracking on this supposed letter he sent.

    im just tired of this bs. it feels like im on vortex.

    Does your phone not have a silent setting on it? I fail to see why it is a problem that he texted you late at night.

    After that point it sounds like he screwed up, when you told him it was the wrong light and damaged, he should have refunded you via PayPal and you return the light. All the money order stuff is a bunch of crap, he clearly has a PayPal account and judging by the amount of listings he has at any one time it should not have been a problem to simply refund you.

    But, I don't understand your complaint about the time of the texts nor ordering a tail light, that you presumably needed, yet not opening it to even check it for almost 4 months.

    If I understand correctly, you waited 3 months to even open the package lol? In any regular commercial setting you would be out of any type of refund/exchange at that point. You would be SOL because there is no way the retailer can affirm that you didn't just simply mishandle the item, and or, install etc etc to cause the damage stated. 90 days after your purchase.

    I've seen bOOOOsted post on this forum since 2006. I seriously doubt he is trying to screw anyone over.

    except this is not a commercial or retail establishment. its a small community that is based on trust. he agreed to resolve the issue with no force from my end. i was ready to rebuy the correct light. he did not follow through with any of his statements about products being sent out. to this day i still dont believe he ever shipped another tail light or initial refund.

    We are very aware its not a commercial or retail instance but using that as the bar, if THEY (retailers) wouldn't even provide that kind of service you should be elated someone on the forums wanted to do that for you. In most cases they wouldn't even reply after all that time. Hopefully you guys get this resolved, either way

    It's resolved. I have given him him all stated refunds and credits. I appreciate all of the support

    You guys are right. Normal retailers would not ever have replied but as an Audi enthusiast for life, I have to see the same people in person regardless of where you are in the US as I travel a lot. I always want it to be all love because in the kind of Audi enthusiasrvwho pulls over to help you out when your car breaks down. Or you need a place to stay. Or you need to borrow a vagcom. This Audi stuff is a way of life for me. True. This guy could just make a living buying stuff and complaining about it considering he got so much money back but hell. Atleast I know. And yes, sorry I called him at 12am. I felt like it was urgent enough that I needed to gets hold of him. And nowadays if you answer you cell then you are up. If not then sorry (we were in the middle of a text convo when I called)

    seller finally provided me with tracking for a refund. the issue should be resolved.
