Swedish widebody B6 Avant 2004

Well I started of with the car about a year ago but due to a number of things the progress came to a grinding halt in april last year.
By that time the car was stuck without interior and a carbon roof half done.
Months passed and i couldn´t really bring myself to continue working on it.
The car moved around in different garages pretty much the rest of last year but then after christmas the spirit came back...

This is the upcoming specs for the car:

Completed mods:

Rebuilt Oettinger bodykit with widebody conversion
New carbonfiber front hood with boser look with a touch of purple pearl
Carbonfiber roof with a touch of purple pearl
Carbonfiber rear spoiler with a touch of purple pearl
New paint job with polished finish
KW version 3 coilover kit with bound/rebound adjustment
Tinted windows all around including windscreen
9½ - 19" wheels
Tuning chip
Replacing the driver door handle
Remowing rails
Remowing rear windscreen wiper
Tinted rear lights
Tinted headlights vid dark interior
Tinted fog lights
Tinted side indicators

Upcoming mods:

Multimedia system
Re-upholstering roof and internal panels with alcantara
4 rebuilded and re-up-holstered Corbeau seats
Big brake upgrade
New custom exhaust 3" cat back with dual 4" end pipes


Future mods:

Larger turbo upgrade
Xenon conversion in foglights
Xenon conversion in headlights

Some pics during the build up of this car:

Testfitting the wheel arches from DTM Autohaus and the Oettinger kit



Bonded the arches and secured them with screws



The sideskirts with the wide arches bonded together



I´ve now cut the arch to get the widend bit stuck on the front bumber



A close up on the split in the arch



Manufacturing an interior the the widend bit on the front bumper giving it a more complete "factory" look



Priming the doors



Primed doors in place and the arches has been filled and sanded



The car in the paint booth for some primer on the arches

Getting the panels back on it and getting it looking like a car again



Put the carbon hood from DTM Autohaus on and its looking pretty neat

Amazing work, how much is this all costing you? If you dont know in USD just type in the normal currency

Personally, just putting it out there, the boser and painted engine area are iffy. Maybe with the engine covers back on and painted same color or if the engine is steam cleaned?

Other than that, very amazing b6 avant.

Well I´m not really going for any european look but if it´s like that then okay... ;)
About the cost i would say somewhere around 75000$ but that includes a lot of hours that i but in on my own.
Just the new brakes will probably be around 15000$.
The paintwork is probably somewhere around 10000$

So one could say that the money is pouring out...

About the engine bay there is a lot of work to still be done there...
I´m hoping to have something interesting to show you there in a couple of weeks!

But once it´s done and out rolling it will be all worth it!

WOW!! I think its going to look sick as hell. The widebody is amazing. The only thing I would have changed is the color for one but thats whatever but I would have gotten wider wheels to get that fat lip look.

Well thats basicly if you count on the full cost of the paint , full cost of the soundsystem and all the hours put into it.
In real money it may have costed me 40-50´000$

Im hoping it will be a nice car when it´s done.
About the color: It´s hard to see it now becouse the pictures are taken by an amature... (me)
When it´s done better pictures will appear...
The wheels are 9½ - 19 with 255/30 on top...
Can´t get much fater than that on it...

well thats fucking awesome, how does it feel to paint the car that holds the number one spot on the top gear track?, and is on my top 3 dream car garage. I have to say I absolutely love the design of that car, I went to BMW's design center with my brother(he designs there) in munich, and out front was a black CCXR, awesome car.

And youre audi is very cool, are you planning on making it into a show car? what are you going to do with the interior?

Yes they are very nice.
About my car I guess it will be somewhat of a show car...
It will not be a trailerqueen though...
I´ll be driving it all summer when the weather is good.
About the interior there will be 4 Corbeau FX1 Pro seats and a lot of stereo.
