My new SQ5

I took delivery Friday 3/7, just got around to taking pics, getting them off the camera, and putting them up.

I'm not much of a photog, so don't expect much in that regard.

Glamor shots. PCNA office building in the background.

20" SQ wheel, same design as what is on my buddy's '09 D3 S8. I didn't go with the optional 21" SQ wheel because there are so few tires (3 or 4) available in that size.

Butt. There's a trim panel I need to cut for the tow hitch opening that's not in place.

Interior stuff

Steering wheel and instruments. Grainy, should re-shoot outside.

Console & center stack. I got the piano wood and aluminum inlay trim.

Seats. I went with the 2-tone leather so as to not have just black everywhere, which gets boring/tiresome. I like it.

Seat bottoms have adjustable seat depth, which is nice.

Driver door panel.

B&O audio, you can maybe read that on the dash tweeter. Between the large mirrors and the thickness of the A-pillar, there's really a somewhat disconcerting blind spot.

Free set of Winter mats I got from a buddy who had them from a Q5 lease that was his ex's, that got turned in. Win! I still need to get a cargo hold one.

Quick question: Can you tell me what connector the AMI cable you received had? Old Apple dock connector still? or lightning connector?

Old Apple dock connector. I'm told to get the Apple converter for the newer phones. I'm stretching a 4S until the 6 comes out, to get on that cycle, so it hasn't been an issue for me yet.

And that brings up grist for another thread I'll start soon.

Congrats! Always been a fan of the two-tone interiors. When I ordered our SQ5, we were debating the brown & red. We ended up ordering the red inserts. Congrats again!

Thanks for the info. Ours should be at the dealer tomorrow and I'm hoping for a Saturday pickup. Ours should get the same AMI cable as yours, so I wanted to know if I needed to order an adapter for my wife's iPhone 5 (yes!).
