Have had my car for 2 years now and figured I would make a thread for me to post pics and updates to my car. Nothing special and definitely not a "build"....

    ECS Geomet slotted rotors
    Akebono Euro Ceramic pads

Thanks everyone. Always go back and forth on doing the suspension. Love the look but driving in the winter already sucks at my current height.

Received a package from Eurocode today and will officially be joining the Alu Kreuz club on Monday Have also added 5 mm spacers in the rear. Here's a couple pics from last weekend near Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado (everyone should see a concert there at least once in their life time!)...

Haven't updated this in a while...as indicated in another thread my ECU fried, so I now have a new ECU and am running without APR Stage 1. Miss the power and can't get a refund on the tune, so at some point I may re-tune the car. Also noticing my oil consumption is getting a little worse, so that part of the reason of holding off on the tune.

Anyways, added a P3Cars gauge this weekend. Really like the look and functionality!

Eibach pro kit went on today! Really liking the results and snapped a couple of crappy pictures a couple hours after it was done. Will take some more pictures and measurements once everything is settled.

Looks great! I love the progress of your car so far. How much did the Eibach coils run you?

Also, were those last pictures taken at DIA? I swear I have identical photos of my truck that I took there.

Thanks! The springs are around $260 from tirerack.com with free shipping. Pictures were actually taken at a light rail station parking garage.

Do you know how much the springs lower the coils are than OEM front and rear? Did you change your struts as well, or are you still running stock? I am looking to purchase something similar to what you have very soon.

The pro kit is 1.4in front and 1.2in back drop from stock. The stock sport suspension lowers ~20mm, and the eibachs would be about 30/35 mm back/front from stock non-sport

Messing around in paint shop pro while bored today. Next weekend gonna install new motor mount, 034 transmission mount (if it comes in), and play around with some plasti dip and do the grilles all black and the wheels anthracite

Installed an H&R rear sway bar today. It is an absolute pain to put it on when you are lowered from stock as there is very limited room for hand/tools and manuevering out the old sway bar and putting the new one in. Was also going to install the Apikol rear diff mount bushing but didn't have a big enough torx or triple square bit. Looks easy enough to do so I'll tackle it some other time. The rear sway feels great. Quicker turn in and less understear. Happy with the purchase.

Wrapped the headlight ambers ("J-code mod") in matte black vinyl. Turned out well...

Swapped out all of the interior bulbs with LEDs. Had an issue with the glove box light not having enough slack in the wires to pull the light housing out. Will have to figure something out there. Also somewhat car related....got a new computer monitor to help with editing photos

Disconnect the housing from the cable. When you put it back in use your finger on the back of the clip inside the glove box to hold it.

Thanks. You should have seen me climb over the center console, out the passenger door, and then tippy toe down the tire tracks to take that pic haha It was less than graceful. If my editing skills were better I'd take the post out also.

Thinking about picking up some Alzor 349 wheels from ECS for winter. Would you guys go hyper silver or black?? Did a quick photoshop of both:

Neither, but definitely not black. Very few cars can pull off black and this isn't one of them. If those were the only two options, I would go with the VMR 710 style ones on the left.

Nope. VMR actually has to bore out their hubs to 66.6 for B8s

Delayed, but I'd go black so you don't have to clean them as often. Also the painted surface would be less likely to get eaten away by salt. This is my opinion despite my personal bias for black wheels, not because of it. Lol.

I did end up going black. Will change up the look of my car and the hyper silvers used conical bolts...didn't want to buy $50-100 in bolts for $400 wheels.

Thanks. Just using a Sony Nex-3N with the kit lens and also a Sigma 30mm f2.8 DN lens. I use Paint Shop Pro for post processing. Not too expensive of a set up as I'm trying to get into photography, but I have been happy with the pictures it takes.

I like the carbon fiber accents did you wrap it or buy a kit? And is there only carbon fiber on one side of the dash cluster? Like silver on the nav screen and carbon fiber on the left air vent?
