    Post DIY: Bische mod v1.0 (Cominghome for lowline cars)

    *** I take no responsibility for your cars, be careful when you work with electronics ***

    This is a relatively easy DIY, but a little habit of electronics is of course a plus. I have very little pictures and my wiring diagram is not top notch either, but I hope I can help someone.

    You will need:

    * 1x 5pin 12v relay
    * 2x 4pin 12v relay
    * 1 pack of Ring connectors
    * 2 packs(about 15pcs) of Female connectors, isolated
    * 1 pack of Quick splicers
    * 1 roll(about 5-6ft) of Electrical wire
    * 1x Fusible link wire
    * Some Heat shrink tubes
    * 1x Rocker switch
    * Solder iron

    Then the tricky part to wire the harness, i made a wiring diagram, not a first class one but you get the idea:

    Be sure to cut about 2ft slack on each of the signals, plus, ground and the feeds for the foglights. With that done, its time to install it. Remove the battery MINUS pole FIRST, then the PLUS pole. Remove the plastic trim under the dash and the piece to the left in the pedals area, locate a ORANGE/WHITE thick wire in a orange connector:

    Splice in the SIGNAL 2 on that wire.

    Pull out the lightswitch(push in, turn right) and locate a BLACK/YELLOW wire:

    Splice in the SIGNAL 1 on that wire. Under the dash theres a constant battery plus hub, with a ring connector on the plus feed wire from the harness, mount it there. The harness ground wire can be mounted under this bolt:

    You should have 2 wires left on your harness, those will be spliced on the WHITE/GREEN and WHITE/BLUE THICKER wires in this area:

    Those are a PITA to splice in on btw. If its all done properly, insert a 15A fuse in your harness and make sure your switch is on. Bolt on your battery plus and try out your new Cominghome feature

    I drilled a hole in the little trimpiece to the right on the lightswitch and placed my switch there.

    Nice job man. So did you use the aftermarket switch? Can the actual oem coming home switch be used?

    I used the rocker switch i posted, i mounted it in the plastic bit where the OEM button sits. And there is no problem using the OEM switch, i mean, its a switch

    Good write-up man!
    BTW, when changing your battery, or just killing the power, it is usually safer to first remove the wire from the negative post, then the positive.

    probably better to do positive first.

    nice diy, i think i'm gonna look into this.

    EDIT: Turns out you're supposed to remove ground first, otherwise you get power surges. Figured I'd fix this.

    no do not remove positive first it can cause power surges. always remove ground first.

    The orange/white is feed to the dome lights and the black/yellow is just ignition signal to turn the function off when turning the car on

    Ohh... So, which one wire should i use as a trigger for my CH/LH module??
    I just need a + signal, so when i unlock my car, the trigger signal turns on the module...

    That is what the orange/white is used for. When you unlock the car the dome lights turns on and when you lock the car they turn off.

    its not working... i used that wire and my fog lights are now ON for ever and there is no way back... :) kidding
    I just need a trigger...i need a + signal for a second and no more... thats why i want to use the wire that is on the central lock...because a lock just gets a 1s of +

    Does anyone know which wire is for central lock??

    Possible to do with the rear license plate lights as well? I think the rear lights lighting up would look good. With led's of course:)

    Yes, but you will get the forgot the light on beep when you open the door because the license plate lights are connected with the city lights.

    I have tried this but it annoying to have beep everytime you open the door and dont have the key in the ignition lol

    I really don't want to bother OP(Bische) anymore lol.....been exchanging pm with him. After assuming I got everything, Im gonna realize that I actually don't

    This picture is very helpful and he posted it in another thread

    P.S. in this picture, the OP used 4 4-pin relays to add the parking lights and rear-lights.
    The diagram he attached on his 1st post is only for the fog lights and only used 2 4-pin relay.

    Im currently wiring the relays, switch, fuse and etc... I have no idea what I'm doing besides the obvious ones showed in the picture
    *I'm gonna be using 1 5-pin and 3 4-pin relays as I want my parking lights to light up too.

    So please pardon me w/ all the following questions:
    1)Do all relays connect to one another? Does the 5-pin relay connects to the 4-pin relay next to it twice?(sorry that's what I can tell from the pic)
    2)Where is the negative/ground wire connected from the fuse line?(shown in the picture) is it the one coming directly from the 5-pin relay?
    3)So only 2 wires, one from the 5-pin relay and one from the 4 pin relay, connect to the switch?
    4)Only 1 4-pin relay is connected to the the fuse?
    5)There's 2 grounds on the diagram but only see one in the picture
    6) Lastly, seems like 2 wires from the 5-pin goes to the switch? is that correct?
    I apologize that you'll need to explain all this step by step...electrical wiring is my weakness

    Thanks in Advance!

    Im sorry, I cant help much more

    The diagram of how I wired my harness is there, signal1 to the dome light feed and signal2 to ignition switched power(I choose one in the lightswitch). The switch is there to be able to override the function manually.
