35 seems to be the preferred profile for 19" wheels. Discount Tire shows optional sizes for 19's and they show a 245/40-19. Anyone using a 40 profile tire on their 19" wheels?

245/40-19 will fit, but your spedo will read slow. My snows are 8mm taller than stock, and I liked how they ran. the 245-40 will be 18mm taller than stock, but only half of that goes into the wheelwell, so it is like dropping the car 9mm on the suspension as far as clearance goes.

I think the 235x40 would be a better choice than the 245x40 if you wanted a 40 profile.

Better yet, 225/40/19 gives the same rolling diameter as 255/35/19 stock S Line and S4 setup. I'm surprised DT would recommend a tire that far off. I say stick with 255/35 or 245/35.

Fender Mod: I removed the front fender liner clip at the top of the front fenders as a precaution but other than that there was no modification done. I have 100% no rubbing at all even with a full car.

I have some rims on my mind, however they are ET 33. I would really prefer to put 255/35/19 tires.
What modifications would be necessary? I would also like to find out what exactly is fender rolling. Thanks.
