New compressor wheel for the he351VE and a few others:

I think once I am up and running I will toss one of these suckers in.

OK, do you have any more info on the compressor wheel on the left? I've seen them on the Bullseye Power site but couldn't figure out if they were for real or if it was some kind of April Fool's gag. Assuming they're for real, has anyone ran them back to back vs an equivalent straight edged billet compressor to see if they actually work any better? I've read the technical posts that Bullseye has put up, and they seem like an interesting design. However without any real testing, it's just speculation to me at this point.

Also, mad respect for what you're doing man. Not very many people here that are actually doing their own fabrication work and all. I had a similar scenario this summer with my build. It's a LOT of friggin' work when you're doing all the fabrication. I know the last bits when you're tired, frustrated and worn out can suck, but just push through it. You look like you're going to have a wicked setup man, it'll be worth it all in the end. Looking forward to seeing it done

    Its called the BatMoWheel.
Dynos are there for back to back. I think I saw that people are seeing arpound 40hp on gas motors, and since these are made for Holset too (diesel) they are seeing like 2 billion ft pound of torque and like 6hp in those applications too...J/K.

I think this is where I am going to be buying mine from:
    http://www.cumminsperformanceparts.c...rhebaishe.html

Supra guy went from high 792whp to 941whp with one of these wheels.

OK, but in the Supra thread, it was compared to a non extended tip GT series turbo (GT 42?). I'd really like to see a test against a billet extended tip turbo. i.e. 366 ETT billet w a straight leading edge vs a 366 ETT w the Batmowheel edge.

No harm in getting one I guess, but I have to wonder how much power it adds above and beyond a similar compressor.

I don even think BW sells the wheel separate for their turbos. Dude said it comes on the new turbos only IIRC. I kind of recall him telling a few people that in either that thread or somewhere else. The only one I found that was wheel only was for the holsets. In the supra guys thread there was a story about the sucess of the wheel in a diesel app. in post#32

"Congrats to Aron Nick from Blacks Diesel for winning the Super Stock Quick 16 in Bradenton. After months of dyno testing we decided to switch from our standard billet wheel to the new "BatMoWheel" right there at the track during test and tune. This immediately picked him up a tenth and 2 mph on the very next run. Then we installed our race cover for eliminations which put this truck in the 10's for the first time. All in all this truck picked up 3 tenths in the quarter mile which put him in the finals and ultimately won the race. "

*ADD...I guess, after reading the quote, they might do the wheel seperately.

In any case, I'll be stoked to see your setup run, batmowheel or not. If you do get one, take some detailed pics though.

Ok, Guess thats a no. I have them both from the Bentley. They arent what I am used to looking at. I guess I will start by tracing the wires to see what needs to be changed around and what goes where. Feel free to chime in.

    SO, HERE GOES:

Been at most of the day was wondering why the a4 wiring just didnt make sense. It appears I have the 2002 mY infront of me which is different than the 2001.....b6 vs. b5. Makes sense why the connector names on the 1.8t side are a bit awkward. Back to Google to see if I can pull up the info, Chiltons isnt cutting it

What year S4 is it? Are you using my wiring descriptions? I'll try and help if I can

I am using your wiring descriptions as a start point. I believe its a 2001 motor. I got the s4 bentley wiring diagrams, I just ordered the bentley for my a4. I need to figure out the body harness section. There doesn't seem to be much of a difference.

I am also having a hard time figuring out which plug is for the left/right knock sensors and the four o2 plugs.

I was hoping to delete the icm, but I don't have the adapters yet. I might have to wait and do it later, which means I will need to order some icm.

I am kinda throwed off as to which injectors are stock. I have two fuel rails and the injectors are a different color. I haven't had the time to go looking for that info yet.

I was hoping to start it up this weekend.....not looking good as this list keeps growing. Hell, I still haven't nailed down a good maf to turbo solution. I wish I could get it to run blow through.

For now, I wanna start it up with as many stock components as possible to help isolate problems. Also, in my tune I had the Egt, rear o2 and a bunch of other stuff coded out. He said I could remove the plugs. I will have to wait and see.

I agree the o2s are close. I might deal with that later. The third is for my wbo2

I have these on their way now:

Since I am doing wiring now, I figured I might as well upgrade to the coils, and ditch the ignition control modules.

So pissed that the Bentley Dvd only works with XP. My laptop is running 7 home premium so I can't do a virtual p.c with xp in it. You need 7 professional for that. That's really dumb that the software hasn't been upgraded to be compatible with the newer OS. I don't really feel like paying to.upgrading my Windows just to run xp, so I can use some stupid software.

Wish I would have known beforehand.

That sucks. Where did you get the wiring bits from? I like the look of those. I just picked up a set of the bolt down 4 wire packs. It gets me new wiring and packs and makes any future changes to the push down packs really easy.

I love this project. Dunno if I've said that yet. Love it.

    Thanks!

The connectors I was going with above were actually going to be more expensive than ordering the 4cyl repair harness x2. They were 35.00 each x 6 = 210.00. The 4cyl harness was around 50.00 each.

I only had the part of the manual that was someone put into Adobe format from the socals4 link. I need the wiring for the A4.

I am going to try to install XP on my virtual PC, I was told that was going to work.
