Full paint correction (two stage) and 22ple done, plus full hood, fender, front bumper, headlights, mirrors, top 6 inches of roof line and rear sides 3M ClearBra done (long story on this clearBra install....for another post) as well as 35% Tint





Podi.ca installed, white needle, silver bezel. As close to perfect as you can get. Also have it set to turn the gauge red and max boost, such s good looking product!





Also installed my Laser Jammers up front (2), the switch is currently rigged until I finish some things up with OCarbon (I'm sending the switch soon Matt I promise!).

On Order:
Full CF Dash/MMI, stealing wheel frame and coin holder delete for radar and laser switches.

Sound:
1 12" JL 12W3V3 and 600 watt Amp and all necessary hardware for clean install. Non-B&O system to start.

Wheels were purchased from Alan@ModBargins (Modbargains), all though I had originally started off with F14...due to some issues getting the blanks, Alan was able to provide another (and in the end better) wheel option that I could get in the original quoted time frame. He took care of me from A-Z and the finished product looks great. So much so that I even referred my boss to him (risky unless you trust the guy), with the stipulation that he cant order the same set up as me :)

Is that amp just for the sub? How hard will it be to integrate the amp into the factory system and still maintain MMI functionality?

Right now amp just runs the sub, supper easy install with the MMI and you can control the sub from the MMI which is nice. I have the stock speakers dialed in right now to be as good as they can be.... just deciding what I want to do with stock speaker and amp replacement...

Going to be installing this little upgrade soon, anyone have any tips or tricks for getting the center console removed? B8.5 with DSG, so can't just pull up the shift boot...

When I hardwired my radar detector, I found a good DIY thread on here where the guy mounted the control in the ash tray and gave pretty good instructions how to get the center console off. Can't find it right now but Im half asleep

Congrats, love the red not sure why there aren't more of them around. Tried my hardest to find red with magma interior. No go. My dealer found a lava red with magma for me before they located ibis/magma (second choice). Not even sure why the factory would bother producing lava with magma. Worst color combo I've see to date.

Springs and Alu Kruz installed, drop is perfect (HR OE), rims shipped out today, should have them on by Friday. Ill attache my alignment results after 7 days (400 miles) with the new springs. Once I get my new tires mounted I will go back and have them adjust a little more (NTB gives you two alignments with in 60 days).

As for DIY for removal of center console, check out Matt @ oCarbon's site, he's got a really good one! I've used it TWICE to completely remove the center console...... it's a pain in the A$$!! But since all you are needing is to get the center area up to install the switch, it won't be that bad for you.

Looking forward to seeing the direction you go with this!

Also just ordered a V1 integrated/hidden rear view mirror, didn't want to lose my white Needle gauge

Here is the first week alignment after HR OE installed and Alu Kruz, will out my rims on Friday then go back and get it redone (two weeks -1000 miles) and see if it gets any better

In the mean time got my mirror back....guy forgot to do the multi colors so I have to send it out again....but at least I'm going on a business trip this time so it won't impact me too bad.

Regarding the rock chip, I just had a pretty full xpel film put on after around 8k miles Tried using touch-up on some chips but they look pretty bad, I'm hoping the film prevents me from looking at them. Make sure you use a toothpick and don't overdo it. The Langka stuff helps with the blobs. The touchup paint I got from Audi doesn't match very well.
