    there is no Audi approved Amsoil oil, and thats why I wont use it.

    Mobil 1 meets all specs and is most easily accessible. Why get all creative with oil selection when Audi tells you what to use?

    Because Mobil 1 shears to a 30 weight in like 1k miles? If you like running a thinner oil, go for it. I use 5w40 and I want it to stay at that viscosity for more than a month's worth of driving.

    Didn't see the Rotella T6 stuff on this list... But sounds like a lot of you guys love it. Any links to good technical comparisons/comparison tests/oil sample test results of the Mobil 1 to the Rotella T6? Thanks!
