Thanks to all for the input. Finally decided on the Vossen GNS-1 in Satin Black, 22x10.5 et7. I feel these will pair with the Florett Silver nicely. Huge thanks to Martin at Nemesis for help and suffering through all my deliberations, numerous emails, texts, repeated questions, and flip flopping. He has the patience of a saint!

It was all my pleasure. No suffering was felt on my part. Happy to help you get to the set up that you wanted. Appreciate the opportunity to make it happen. Going to look great!

I’d say ET6-10 range. Depends on how flush you want and if you don’t mind some tire past fender. Which brand you plan to run?

Do you have pics of your car with the rims?

Indeed I do...albeit with the Glacier White Metallic I ended up with instead of Florett Silver that I'd originally wanted. Beggars can't be choosers...though anyone in one of these cars can't be much of a beggar...

Wow those look great. Was hoping to see them on Florett since that is what I found instead of my desired Merlin. Still very glad to have the car! Thanks for the pics!

Thank you. It’s funny, seems there are many of us that are in a car with a different color than our first choice. Florett Silver was mine. I’ve had many silver Audis up until I went looking for my first RS, an RS5 Coupé a few years ago. Ended up with a Daytona Grey, which we love. Such an awesome color. I find it picks up the color of whatever is nearby and gives the car a slight hue in that color. Love it.

Rinse, repeat when I went looking for the RS6. Cue the Glacier White Metallic. Same color as my long gone ‘13 B8.5 Allroad coincidentally (or maybe not). Somehow, white works with the Avants IMO. Silver seems to be one of the harder colors to find. In fact, it seems Audi is either phasing it out or limiting the models it offers it on (other than custom choice).

But I digress. I love a clean, five arm wheel like the GNS-1. That style is hard to find. It’s why I’ve held onto the set of Vorsteiner V-FF 104s I had on our RS5 for so long. I finally gave in and put a set of Vossen EVO-1Rs on, in part to get away from using spacers….

    Hello,

I'd like to add a little more meat and, like others, am interested in how 20 inchers might fit on steel brake RS6's for a little bit more of a rally look? Specifically I was looking at adding the wheel/tire combo from the rear of the 911 Dakar.

295/40 R20 Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires

20x11.5 offset 63. Dakar Fuch style wheels

Anyone have any luck with 20in winter wheels yet?

Not aware of anyone getting 20" to fit. Some 21" require modification to the dust shields to fit.

Even if you manage to get the 20" to fit, the 11.5" ET63 would no be a good starting spec. You'd want a 35mm adapter to have them sit similar to OE wheels and then a tire that would be slightly stretched to fit. Best bet would be a 21x10" with 295/35R21 or 21x9" with 275/35R21 to get a meatier look.

295/35R21 on 21x10.5" as an example.
