Carplay / Android Auto problem in '19 TT RS

Respectfully, over a full year to fix this is a disgrace. We reported the issue in August 2019!

I can confirm that the software update is expected to be released in the 3rd quarter of 2020, and is caused by an MMI software configuration issue. The issue is intermittent and does not always occur during a drive based on driving conditions but for some customers, this issue can occur during each trip each day. The solution is forthcoming and will be implemented by your Audi dealer and apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

it is frustrating for sure, not having the 2nd screen and then this happens!
I am going to guess they bundle all updates into one per year?
I can't think of any other reason why it would take SO LONG.
What sucks is that this is one update that any iOS guy will have to do... and if they are tuned, that is scary.
I guess if they have unitronic they can turn off the tune, better than nothing! that always worked for me with uni in my S3.
