Any news on when this will be available from FCP? Even with the Black Friday sale, ~$40 shipping isn't great :(

Bumping this thread if you have any questions let me know! Many B5’s could benefit from an upgraded radiator and is a good preventative upgrade especially if you have the stock 20+ year old radiator

Here's another tip for running one of these that may not pertain to the CSF, however most likely does, considering it'll share close to the same dimensions as everyone else.

As I remember it's 12" fans I used (could be 14"). The issue is on every design the surface area is unfortunately only say... 23" wide between the end tanks, but 2 12" fans are like 24.5" with their cage size. Now you have to offset the fans, if not some people having to drop down in size to even offset the fans because the fan cage still makes them too wide.

What you do is trim/square off the inner fan shroud(s) so you can butt both 12" fans together. Since they're butted, the blades are not out in the open because they kinda form the Audi Rings logo (half the ring).

Now you have two fans side by side that were 24.5" wide...down to say 23" wide so can run them side by side. If 12" fans fit comfortably without trimming then that's the trick to get 14"s to fit.

+12 points for including the physical attributes of the Audi Rings in your fan layout explanation.

I know this is a few months old but if you just contact FCP they can put them back in stock on their website. They did it for me and it shipped asap

Bumping this thread! We have quite a bit of stock ready to be shipped out! Make sure to take care of your 1.8T’s cooling system to keep your car happy especially coming into these hot summer months! This is definitely a reliability mod your won’t regret especially as the OEM plastic endtanks start to leak!

Both FCP & ECS currently have this CSF #7204 radiator priced at $399 with free shipping & lifetime replacement.

This is a reasonable price & I just placed an order for one. Looking forward to installing it soon!

Thanks again to the CSF engineering team for their effort developing this product for the B5 community!

Thoughts on converting a CSF to AN fittings and customizing the cross pipe to take the same???

Have many people had issues with their CSF 1.8T rad? I installed one about 6k kms ago on my car and the core is already leaking. Unfortunately I lost my warranty card, so I don't know if I can even get it warrantied. I purchased it through ECS so there's their 'lifetime replacement' option, but it only gives me store credit after ordering a new one, not a refund/free replacement. Pretty disappointed that it's already leaking with such little use.

You can see in the photo that it's the core that's leaking, behind the fan. The fan is still functioning 100% and was not touching the radiator.
