Aluminum bling is nice but i think its kind of a waste of $$$ for 95% of people with these cars and their driving habits. like B5carl plans to only do HWY pulls and nothing else, his coolant temps will prob never get hot but he still wants this radiator lol
It's still going to be on the highway most of the time I beat on it though. I do plan on doing some autox so I actually decided to get the g25-660 0.72 like you did since I can't get the twinscroll EFR anymore. Even though I'll probably only make 450whp max on pump gas...
Anyways, Good to hear that you don't have overheating issues with your car but I do know the 1.8t runs hotter than my Honda for example so that's why I'm thinking I need one of these. And when I say hotter I mean it reaches operating temp much sooner than my Honda. One of the mechanics I use to work with told me that these engines get so hot that they will produce sludge much sooner than other cars and clog up your oil feed, galleries etc..That's why it's important to stay on top of your oil changes. So you might as well get a good dual pass radiator to stay on the cooler side right?
