APR suggest non apr K04s not a good idea

The explanation I recall vaguely had to do with the spin/spool rate, different size components coupled with the algo. I don't deny either like schwiz that they developed the tune using the S3 variant. That's the thing I trust APR's r&d and didn't want to get some adverse effects on the account of me saving some money...a good deal of money.


Few mentions of the "old" CTS K04 is there a difference than the 1070 I'm getting?

Didn't notice the K04 X they have...hmmm... Jason11213 from a previous thread never got back to us on the swap from the K04 TR -1070.

the real explanation is that apr making like 1000% profit on the turbo so they will scare you into buying their ridiculously priced turbo when shane ran faster than anyone with an apr turbo on his ebay turbo and apr tune
