    But I’m pretty sure if you just cut the pad wires at the pad and twist them together you’ll complete the circuit and your warning will go off.

    We did this all the time on older Vag cars. Brake pads are just an on off type sensor so all you have to do is make a pig tail with your pad sensor connector, twist the wires together and you’re done. No resistor or anything like that. Just the old pad wires, a twist of the wires and some electrical tape.

    Yes, those settings don't exist for the B7 from what I can see.
