Perfect.. Will your phone pick up the sound? If your GoPro doesn't pick it up - that's abit surprising and I suppose good because it means that it's not obnoxious...

I've got a big weekend coming up.. Lowering, tune, intake, spacers and rack pads - all on the same day. Just need a 50+ weekend day and it's go time.

I have to admit, cell phones are getting better and better with lenses and mics. Helps if you have high quality sd card also. My vids are from Note8.

cant get my wireless bluetooth to connect to JB4r36 bluetooth unit. also my mobile app will not connect to "KIT" times out every time. did u have any initial issues with connecting and setting up? I registered and logged in on mobile app but cannot get any connection to JB4 unit and my car throws all kinds of error codes!! I already contacted Burger just wondering if there were any quick tips. thanks!

I did not have any issues, do you have the new unit that is shipped with the Bluetooth unit connected with the JB4 controller or did you wired it in? As you are not able to connect to the JB4 you can’t look up the codes you get. My first step other then contacting BM as you did would be to disconnect the Bluetooth unit from Jb4 and see if it works normal (no engine codes) without it. I would also check all my connections especially the OBD2 both under the wheel as well up at the unit as some report plugin in the 4 pin connector backward (190deg) and was not really connected.

If you need more help just ask or DM.

I think the “new design “ that grabs power from the connector is the culprit. I wonder if you get the power to it as documented in the past instructions if it would fixe it? However he is also getting check engine light that would potentially not caused by just Bluetooth error. Let’s see that BM will respond with as you both already are working with them. Good luck !

Yes - I have no CEL and car is running good ans fast in Map 1. It’s only the BT connection part I can’t get to work.

I’m gonna try the 180 swap above and see if That’s it. Will try tonight after work

As you don’t have codes it’s probably not the 190 change. In your case the only thing I would try is to remove the blue wire from the B9 pin and wire it per old instructions taking power from the wire harness and not the JB4 controller. I would however see what BM recommends as the unit you both have is a newer gen that my unit.

Will do, the center caps on pictures do reflect the ceiling excellent catch. The cap is gloss black with raised txt and logo. Also will be replaced with red soon 😉

I think it may actually be a Prestige thing? I saw another Prestige online with the smooth "tips". My 2018 and 2019 Premium Plus both had the honeycomb.

I figured out that the Audi MMI and my Note8 phone were somehow set as priority to connect on demand. so even though i disconnect the bluetooth from MMI on my phone ,the audi unit continuously re-connected. blocking out the JB4 r36 module from ever getting a chance to complete the "handshake". I everything working now and its way more pull and drives harder in each gear. Map 3 is the go to im assuming?
